Cannot access WWZ online services on Steam Deck
Hello I cannot connect to the online services of World War Z on steam deck in game mode. It allows me to login online on desktop mode, but not game mode.
LHere is the log file when launching the game through the steam shortcut. I cannot actually play online unless its directly through heroic launcher rather than the shortcut on steam it seems.

LThe most notable errors are:
L- [ERROR]: [Backend]: Failed to get epic service status with Error [ERR_FR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS]: Maximum number of redirects exceeded

LI think the solution would probably be to use flatpak heroic launcher rather than from the cachyos repository.
Ait would be good if you can check with the official flatpak, because we don't maitain the cachyos version, if it works with flatpak and fails with the cahyos version then it should be reported in the cachyos github instead
LYeah it would not be the firtst issue I have had with the cachyos version. I'll see about reporting it
LAnd yes the flatpak version works without issue in terms of allowing me to go online on desktop through the steam shortcut. Now to see about game mode
LOk I might be wrong, but it seems like if the game is launched from the steam shortuct, when it launches heroic it for some reason shows that its offline banner. If I have heroic open before launching the game from the steam shortcut, then heroic wont be offline as it launched the game. This is super odd
LOk after looking into it, I think I know what the issue was. There was a decky plugin called spoof dpi or something like that that was turned on and messed with my connection. I have since turned it off and uninstalled it, so I’m going to see if that fixed it once cloudfare fixes its issues (doesn’t allow me to login into heroic rn
