Mouse Doesn't lock to the game screen and moves off the screen to my other monitors

this is on every game even out of steam like minecraft and star citizen. is this a know issue that i can't find or am i just looking in the wrong place Im using GNOME

it doesnt happen every time, only when my mouse moves off the screen that the game is on and every game is setting its default resoulution to 8k which is weird but not for this form

Protontricks.
There is an option somewhere in there in protontricks winecfg after you have selected to use the default prefix.

Can't provide more details. On vacation and in the middle of a transfer.

Also had this issue and posted about it here awhile back with no effective reply

It fixed itself for a week or 2 in Helldivers, but the issue is back again

Scaling, Fullscreen, and Gamemode grab cursor didn't work

I'll give scopebuddy a try in a bit, but it would be nice to have a solution that "just works"

Only thing scopebuddy does out of the box is fix steam input and the steam UI in nested gamescope (it's the same fix as the 2 are linked together)

in in the Launch Options. Doing so gives me an error saying that DX12 is not supported your system
