.exe programs have no Icons in Dolphin

In the Dolphin configuration as you see i enabled all windows executables/programs, and I tried many different apps, it never has an icon just this default.
As far as I know in Bazzite it should have previews by default, if that's the case could anyone help me why I don't have none?
Deleting cache didn't help, neither is unchecking and checking the settings again.

Just chiming in to say I've noticed the same thing. I've found that you can install Dolphin on a distrobox, and it works, but it's hardly an elegant or ideal solution. I've also noticed some weird instances where viewing directories in distrobox Dolphin makes the icons in those directories also appear in regular Dolphin...and I have no idea why that happens lol

Okay so I feel stupid, I clicked "Recent Locations" in Dolphin and now the icons are working again in all directories. I think this might have had something to do with Dolphin defaulting to not showing previews for remote storage (I've recently been moving files between my NAS and PC). But I honestly have no idea

that would be it as fetching and generating thumbnails over remote locations can slow down interactions with the remote by a crap ton (especially with samba where every interaction has to be verified by both server and client, which would be 4 communications back and forth for 1 interaction)
