Need Walk through to get system sorted

Need to basically get things going, i am very new to Linux and managed to get Bazzite going on my system, when running steam my games are not starting, Steam installed a bunch of stuff like runtime software etc...I am semi illiterate to alot of these terms and acronyms and am kinda just lost. I am asking alot and i willing to compensate you fairly for your time if you can help me for a few hours walking through what to do, what certain things mean etc. Or i can give you a steam game or whatever else if you dont want something like that.

Do you know how to post a screenshot in Discord? If so, can you click your start menu and type "About this System"? Then, click it and take a screenshot.

Will do, for me its mostly pertinent that i can just run HoI4 because alot of people depend on my hosts, as well as Bannerlord, since thats my main pass time, i can hold out for pretty much everything else

First question, do you know if you installed your games fresh after installing Bazzite?

I formated my C drive (main drive) so i could put the Linux partition on it, i had 2 other external drives that had most of the other games on it

Hoi4 was formated (small game) i reinstalled and ran it with Bazz, it actually worked, however i left game, some more things from steam auto installed and when i tried to run it again it just didnt work

Bannerlord i just saved from my C to another drive and thought it would work, but it didnt after i verified it.

OK, the first thing I'm worried about is that at least 1 drive may still have a NTFS filesystem.

In general, you never want to use NTFS with Bazzite because (from everything I've read) it either won't work, or it will LOOK like it works, but then it will have problems.

Can you please open a terminal and run this command to check filesystems:

mount | grep \/dev

mount | grep \/dev

I did some checking on the protondb website. Both Hearts of Iron IV and Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord seem to be marked "gold" for support. This should mean they mostly work, but may have some glitches or need some troubleshooting.

Then, while uninstalled:

Right click Hoi4 in Steam.
Click Properties.
Click Compatibility and turn off the "Force the use of a specific..." checkbox.

After installing, please close Steam by clicking the Steam menu in the top left, and Exit.

Finally, restart Steam, click Manage Downloads at the bottom.
