Gigabyte mobo sleep bug (again)
Hello again. I went through troubleshooting this issue before here (https://discord.com/channels/1072614816579063828/1396675460783407277) but the issue returned more or less immediately after that and I decided to take a break from trying to get this to work so that I could actually use my computer normally. I did briefly research before diving back in and saw some suggestions that the issue was being worked on (as recently as a month ago), but upon a fresh Bazzite install on my machine yesterday, the issue is definitely still present. I have tried disabling GPP8 as well as GPP0, but that doesn't even seem to work anymore unfortunately. Is there a known fix for this? Is the issue present in other distros like Mint?
A tl;dr of the issue: my machine with a 5800X3D, 9070XT, B550I Aorus pro rev 1.3, 2 M.2 SSD's, 1 SATA SSD won't sleep properly. The machine either wakes up immediately after going to sleep or goes into an incomplete sleep where the screens are still on but the system doesn't respond to any inputs and requires a hard shutdown to function again. I've tried disabling GPPO and GPP8 using a script, and while that worked briefly before, it doesn't seem to fix the issue now.

I have the same issue with my MSI motherboard. 7800X3D, 7900 XTX, msi mag b650 tomahawk
just wanted to give you a small update on my troubleshooting. disabling GPP0 and GPP8 didn't work for me, but disabling both of those AND XCH0 (USB controller I believe) works and makes the computer stay asleep. I still have more troubleshooting to do to see if I can figure out which USB device is sending the wake signal but I'm hopeful here
my suspicion is the fan controller I forgot I had, but I still gotta get back on there to test some more
good info thanks
