Spectacle screen recording creating unplayable & small files
Whenever I'm trying to use spectacle to record anything it will always create a file exactly 297B big and unplayable no matter the mode or length of the recording.

Solution
same issue (except the videos 422B for me), don't have a great fix. there's some uncertainty as to whether the issue belongs to spectacle itself, KDE, or nvidia drivers (if you use those)
Has been reported on github at https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/issues/3582
They suggest rolling back to an older version of bazzite as a temporary fix.
Otherwise other screen recorders, e.g. https://flathub.org/en/apps/io.github.seadve.Kooha seem to still work
