Poor performance on AMD Strix Halo desktop

I'm running Bazzite deck on a Beelink GTR 9 Pro 128GB RAM desktop. (Ryzen 395 AI MAX). I getting really bad performance playing Arc Raiders. I mean really bad. I can barely get 40 fps on low settings at 1080p with FSR3 performance mode. I've seen the game running better than this on a Steamdeck. Something must be up with my setup, any clues? Maybe force using a different version of Proton? I don't seem to have problems with other games in my library, but admittedly I haven't checked the frame rates, Arc Raiders was so obviously bad I had to look into it.
