Failed to execute 'open' on 'SerialPort' / Meshcore
Hiya. I am trying to flash my new Lilygo T-deck Plus on this website https://flasher.meshcore.co.uk to get on to Meshcore with Chrome on Bazzite but I am running into this error: Flashing failed! Failed to initialize. Did you place the device into firmware download mode? Detail: NetworkError: Failed to execute 'open' on 'SerialPort': Failed to open serial port. I am new to Meshcore and pretty new to Linux ( the terminal is still a mystery).
So, I ordered a Lilygo T-deck plus. It arrived today. It turns on. But I am having issues flashing. I am pressing trackball and then turn the deck on, keep it pressed for a few second to get into dfu-mode as described here, but that gives the error message above. I checked my usb c cable, it works. The computer also recognise my mobile phone when I connect it with that usb c cable but it does not show the Lilygo T-deck Plus in the device tray.
I found this on the internet but the terminal command for group does not seem to work for me, so I figured before I do real damage, perhaps someone can help me out.
I also tried with Brave and Vivaldi: same issue.
