Not getting FSR or HDR in Warframe

(I provided my config files and such) I'm probably making a stupid mistake but I can't figure it out. i've read the docs, watched a video but even though when the launcher is opening, i see it's opening it via gamescope. The actual game doesn't seem to be following the gamescope conf.

my launch options for warframe are just: scb -- %command%

I have FSR turned on in game (although I can only select fsr 2.2, not sure if that's normal)
and I can't turn on hdr in the game. (my display in kde plasma has hdr turned on)

For steam os’s built in FSR to work you need to set the game resolution below your native one in its properties. Before you start the game go to properties and look for resolution

Idk what your resolution is, but whatever it is, set it Below that. Fsr will work when you launch the game granted you have to set it to sharp

As for HDR, I think atm it’s not working right in game mode what I heard, idk about desktop mode

You lose performance anyway using hdr as well. Especially if you combine it with frame generation

gamescope fsr works the way homeless mentioned
hdr in warframe only works when the game is in dx12 mode (change this in the launcher) and it also required a setting enabled in the game settings too

also in your settings you manually set --hdr-enabled--hdr-enabled and enable SCB_AUTO_HDRSCB_AUTO_HDR, you cannot have both (or well you can but its the same as always --hdr-enabled--hdr-enabled)

same goes for the VRR and adaptive sync.

also you can change command+=' PROTON_FSR4_RDNA3_UPGRADE=1'command+=' PROTON_FSR4_RDNA3_UPGRADE=1' to export PROTON_FSR4_RDNA3_UPGRADE=1export PROTON_FSR4_RDNA3_UPGRADE=1

true, although the variable name fix for RDNA3 it won't make a difference with a 9070 XT; it's RDNA4

Nowhere did I say that, they are using scopebuddy to set gamescope settings and arguments and have hardcoded things to be on no matter what their hardware reports it supports

And for outside of gamemode you have to tell gamescope it's supported and they have in their config "detect if it's supported automatically but I will still force it on regardless"
