Video playback (local, in browser, doesn't matter) is stuttering. Feels like a possible codec issue?
A few days ago I started getting a stuttering playback from a lot of videos. Not all videos mind you, for instance VLC plays everything fine. But if I open steam, video trailers are slow and stuttering. Adult swim’s marathon in-browser (chromium and non-chromium), slow and stuttering. My Plex server, slow and stuttering. It doesn’t matter if the video file is local or being served in browser. If it’s not in VLC or in some rare cases, I’m getting stuttering playback. I have no clue what changed.
I have messed with hardware acceleration, updating, reset the ostree, rolling back, I just can't find the issue.
