Having trouble running hogwarts legacy
Tryna play hogwarts legacy on my imacos intel but keeps coming with C++Runtime error dk what to do watched tutorials nothing seems to be working

Athough I just tested the game with game porting toolkit 3 beta 5 and it worked out of the box, it didn't ask for the visual c runtime
LI tried using the github thing but didnt seem to work

Sfreshly installed HWL and GPTK3.0 and i get the vcruntime error. Winetricks fails to install anything, vcrun2022 would fix if i could install it. is winetricks failing because of the old wine version?
DI was able o instal them manualy but now I get this and I don't know haw to fix it
Ashare new logs, I think I got that message too but then the game started just fine

Wine Manager in heroic's sidebar, install the latest game porting toolkit version, then set that in the game's settings in heroic and try againAwhisky is outdated and abandoned

DAfter playng the introduction the screen goes black. I can stil hear the music and when it jumps but I dont see enithing https://0x0.st/ProV.log
Pi dont believe so because vcrun2022 did install just fine for another game of mine
Pit'd be really odd if this was a hwl specific issue
Pmanually installing the vc runtime with the exe works fine for the game though
Pturn off both esync and msync, i believe someone else did say that having both of them on causes the game to act odd
Sstrange, yeah winetricks still giving me issues. same with another buddy that i was trying to help. trying winetricks on another game still doesnt fully install the trick.
Swhat do you mean by this? like the actual microsoft.com exe download?

Sahh ok thanks agian. im just wondering if tahoe screwed up heroics winetricks. as me and a buddy are both having issues with it. but can run winetricks outside of heroic just fine.
Sand that run exe on prefix also doesnt seem to do anything for us. it just flashes purple for a few sec and doesnt do anything
