Stalker 2 won't launch

So the behavior started today and is as follows: When clicking on launch it'll just go straight back to "Play" without opening anything.
I did receive some updates late yesterday regarding drivers and kernel so this might be the cause of the issue, however I wouldn't be able to fix this anyway.
