Kingdom hearts 3 black screen after opening logo fadein/outs
the artist formerly known as kingdom hearts ||| + re-mind from the epic games store
- fades in and out the disney, pixar, square enix and winnie the pooh (the load bearing one, clearly) logos/legal info
- fades in a black screen
- ...
- thats it
This seems to be a known issue, however the solution seems unclear to me. I described the whole issue here, so that future generations can better benefit from the findings.

It appears I am supposed to install THIS: https://github.com/Kurumi78/mf-install which, as I have fortunately looked up, is not related to rm rf, but an entirely separate 3rd thing, something about a media foundation.
I can definitely try installing with the sheer instructions of "run this in commandline" but I would rather be certain that I am installing it in the correct way, in the correct location and without, as one other user did, uninstalling some keyboard drivers.
There are also concerns about it potentially not being supposed to be needed anymore, having been archived 2 years ago and with none of the other links that could have led to other solutions being dead.
