stalker 2 crashing constantly

Been having issues with Stalker 2 crashing on me constantly. I assumed it was because of a couple of mods I had installed so I removed those and reinstalled the game just to be on the safe side. Started a new game, going through the beginning segment doesn't give me issues, but unfortunately the crashing came back shortly after when you get near the first safe area. I feel as though this has something to do with an update to either the distro I use (CachyOS) or has something to do with new Nvidia graphical drivers.
