Do Epic Cloud saves work smoothly?

Hi, the only posts I'm finding about this online are from quite a while ago, so I can't get a consistent answer. Do cloud saves work well for Epic games that support them? I tried with Sifu recently and it didn't work, but I'm wondering if I did something wrong. Thanks.
