Discord being frozen after being minimized

hi! I looked briefly through the documentation and I couldn't find any answers to this so I wanted to ask here. what is causing discord to be frozen/paused when I minimize it for too long? when this happens, I stop getting notifications and when I reopen it, after a second or two, everything updates and suddenly there's several messages from people. How can I fix this?
Solution
Okay I think I fixed it, turns out it wasn't bazzite but rather hardware acceleration on discord being enabled, I fixed it by disabling hardware acceleration
