How to get Xbox 360 Guitar Hero controller working for Xenia?

I'm trying to get Guitar Hero 2 (Xbox 360 version on Xenia) working. It works perfectly in Xenia on Windows, but on Bazzite, it won't read my guitar controller's buttons correctly. I can't seem to map them right using Steam Input, either. I've tried it with and without Steam Input. I also tried modifiying the Xenia config file to use Xinput by default.
Does anyone know how to get this working on Bazzite?
