No game launches on MscOS after app update

Hi, I am using macbook pro on m1 pro chip.
recently have been playin some games using HGL, mostly brotato.
It was working fine , although the launching process was failry slow.
Now, No matter how many times I try, it does not launch.
I reinstalled the Launcher, after trying reinstaling the game itself, both attempts with no success.
Sometimes I dont even get any log.
When I click "play" button, it says "launching" then "playing" then returns back to "play", so game never launches.
