Appimages not launching from Gear Lever

🛟bazzite-help Having some issues launching app images from Gear Lever. I can launch appimages from the desktop just fine, and Gear Lever can properly integrate the appimage into its menu, but launching the image will have it work for a second, hang, then return to having the UI be clickable again without launching the app. Gear Lever has previously worked, so I'm unclear what the issue is.
Have tried uninstalling and reinstaling gearlever via flathub a few times with no luck. Unsure if it's something system wide that happened.
