Poor performance with DH enabled with low cpu usage

MC 1.21.xI'm having a weird issue that happened all of a sudden. A week ago I was getting good FPS while using DH on a realm I came back from vacation didn't change anything but update my shader and now when i have DH turned on my gpu util drops in half and my fps with it. I go from around 100 to less than 60 most of the time. Specs are i9-12900k, 4070tis, 32g ram 14 allocated, and 1440p.
