Yes I do believe that because my device had run in those settings, it was just a day ago that it ran into this problem

I have tried that just now and I didn't see any changes. I have also reinstalled the game as one of the moderators had told me earlier and it really had some changes, the medium and high options appeared, but soon gone once I reopened/ restarted the game.
