Your Functions folder is built into a Worker and then deployed alongside your Pages project in general - although I think some frameworks just turn it into a _worker.js_worker.js

Yeah, SvelteKit does that. Next.JS isn't support yet though

I'd suggest maintaining at least one old version at all times to avoid such things. Also having a versioned API (if you have any) will eliminate these scenarios (in most cases).

It varies by browser so you'll need to look up "how to clear dns cache on x browser"

But basically, your browser might be caching the result of an old DNS lookup which is causing it to go to the A records instead of the new CNAME.

I've used it for a bit without issue. Afaik the refresh header isn't standardized but just accepted but all browsers

Pages only works on the specific domains you point it to, it can't wildcard.
