update: resolved. I had to prefix the HTTP:// in front of the ip address in immich app.....

Update: WRONG_VERSION_NUMBER in client. (iOS version number…? server version number..?)

i'll test api over local when i'm home. (currently not on the same network as my server). Of note: when i go to API from the browser, /[public-ip]:2283/api, this is what appears. not sure if this is normal or not
