Is there a way to find out what mods I was using in a save file?
Not sure if there is another way but one way is to load the game it will tell you what mods are missing before launching the game. If you had several mods it only lists so many so take a screenshot of list and download those mods then try launching save again it will tell you if others are missing.

Yes, Everyone joining a Modded game/server needs to have the Mod Manager and the same mods installed.

I shut mod off created save. Saved the game once. Turned Ficsit Network back on and it loaded just fine. No crash.
