Filter partner assets in search result
Hi. I wonder if there are plans to add support/option to filter out partner assets from the search query result. The use case/scenario I found myself in many times is that I've made a search query and found a lot of assets that I want to archive/delete. When selecting and trying to archive/delete multiple assets an error is thrown if there are not sufficient previleges, which is the case if the asset is partner shared. Further the whole selection is deselected and the operation does not continue to process any operations. I know that there are some backlog already on managing partner assets, but while waiting for that I was curious if any of the below features would be easier to imeplement, hence mitigating the issues. Questions: Are there plans to implement a feature 1. to be able to filter the search query to not include partner assets (or only the logged in users archive)? 2. to tag or somehow highlight in the UI that it is a partner asset? 3. to keep current asset selection despite of an error? 4. to proceed doing the operation (archive or delete) on the assets where there are sufficient privileges and ignore the onces with errors? Thanks for support and a great app!

Face recognition tweaking
Hi. I read this tip "you can also manually assign a selection of unassigned faces and queue Missing for Facial Recognition to help it learn and assign more faces automatically.", and manually re-assigned hundreds of images from an unnamed person to named persons. I then reran refresh of FACE DETECTION, which should also trigger the "missing" in FACIAL RECOGNITION. I see no changes at all. I then re-assigned a couple of hundreds more and reran the process. I understand that there is algorithm in play, but to me the non-named assets have really obvious similarity with the named assets, hence why I'm trying to understand how I can try to tweak the operation using the parameters (or if I have misunderstood the functionality). I also have a lot of faces (in my opinion), 2,148. I'm using the standard settings: Facial recognition model: buffalo_l Minimum detection score: 0,7 Maximum recognition distance: 0,5 Minimum recognized faces: 3 What are the recommended approach to try to improve the results, i.e. - Assets on unnamed persons assign into named persons - Less people (goes hand in hand with the previous point...) Server running on: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Immich version: 1.121.0 Thanks in advance!

Media storage strategy
Hi! I just started using Immich and I really like the app! I'm thinking about a storage strategy going forward. My current/legacy media storage is kept in a base folder with sub-folders structured as year/month. As of now I've included the media as an External library and successfully synced 9723 videos + 131 457 photos (787GB). So far so good! Now, going forward I wan't to start including accounts for my family of five, setup iOS Immich app on their device and turn on automatic (background) sync. If I've understood it correctly the sync feature will create assets in the UPLOAD_LOCATION and there is no option to store them in my External library. For that I would have to manage the sync/upload to External library outside Immich and then either run scan manually or enable "Automatic watching" to keep the timeline updated. Theoretically I could point the UPLOAD_LOCATION to be included in the External library folder structure, but from what I read that is not a recommended approach. Storing legacy media library in one way and the new media library (Immich) in another way seems inconsistent and could potentially cause me headache down the road. For this reason I'm opting towards moving/migrating my existing External library to the Immich library. Some questions on top of my mind: 1. What would be the best approach for moving/migrating? Maybe there are some guide(s) for this that I missed? 2. If I want to use a Storage template, should I apply that before moving the files? 3. Any other things or risks I should consider before doing the operation(s)? Thanks in advance for any help!

Jobs stuck on initial load/sync of large data set
Hi. I've recently setup Immich and included an external library on the same server/disk containing 767GB of media. Now the jobs seem stuck. Immich server logs says: "ReplyError: ERR Error running script (call to f_b4cd4bbdf096cd8d06246080315ae81c56e05a46): @user_script:222: @user_script: 222: -MISCONF Redis is configured to save RDB snapshots, but it is currently not able to persist on disk. Commands that may modify the data set are disabled, because this instance is configured to report errors during writes if RDB snapshotting fails (stop-writes-on-bgsave-error option). Please check the Redis logs for details about the RDB error." Attached the redis logs, last 1k lines. I basically haven't tried any measures so far, not even a restart. Wanted to check here first to get some hints on what to try. Thanks in advance. Other info: Immich v1.121.0 Docker version 24.0.2, build cb74dfc Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS

Problem with folder check / permissions
Hi. I've installed Immich for the first time. It fired up fine with the default config, but when I changed the UPLOAD_LOCATION the immich_server keeps restarting. The logs indicate the following error: microservices worker error: Error: Failed to read "<UPLOAD_LOCATION>/encoded-video/.immich - Please see https://immich.app/docs/administration/system-integrity#folder-checks for more information." Now, I could create the dirs and touch the files manually, or disable the folder check, but I would rather like to avoid that and understand/fix the root cause. .env conf looks like this: UPLOAD_LOCATION=/media/8000/backup/Pictures/2003 The folder has the following permissions: drwxrwxr-x 12 root docker 4096 Nov 25 13:19 2003 Other info: - Immich v1.121.0 - Docker version 24.0.2, build cb74dfc - Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
