HP Printer

I can't get my hp printer rto install in Blend. I have installed hplip [brian@blend ~]$ sudo system install hplip but get the error sudo: hp-setup: command not found. I installed hplip in a debian container. when I run hp-setup it finds my printer ok with manual discovery from ip address. I get the error Printer queue setup failed. Error: successful-ok-ignored-or-substituted-attributes after I inter my login credentials.. I've googled, tried to search the docs, etc. I can't find anything to help out with this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running in a VM....

Gparted freezing

Hi guys. I'm trying to install the latest gnome edition of Gnome blendOS to disk. I'm booting off of a live USB. The problem is that I have Windows 11 installed in the first partitions of the disk and I need to do manual partitioning with gparted. It keeps hanging whenever I try to apply an operation so I can't proceed with the install. Any help is appreciated.

Stuck at “started Gnome display manager” and started flickering

Hello…I used etcher…everything seemed to work out but then I guess there’s some issues with screen resolution or drivers or something else…the screen is stuck at gnome display manager. I tried nomodest, nouveau.modeset=0 and 1…didn’t work…help

Cannot use WayDroid

I’m on a laptop, Intel 12-th gen CPU, running KDE. When I try to init android support, it does say init success, but nothing works. The open setting button does nothing. After a restart, it says init again, and there’s still nothing. The process seems normal, it asks for my password, I can click install app store and it “installs” but I cannot open, and there’s no android apps as well....

I'm doing my first install of blendos and absolutely love what's going on here, but I seem to have a problem with the KDE install. I'm working with laptop that is one of those tablet convertible types where you can flip the screen around and it's essentially a tablet. Best approach to compiling and installing an application?

Whats the correct approach to installing a compiled app, im trying to compile emacs. I tried installing inside a container it tells me that a path in /usr/local/share is read only and installing outside the container I lack the ability to get libgccjit because that has a conflict within pacman? (Sorry for the duplicate post on telegram too this seemed like a better place) So i tried installing not in a container again, resolving the conflict in pacman tho i wish pacman -Fy was avalible to me so i could better resolve conflicts like that. And trying to do sudo make install i ran into a simmilar but slightly diffrent error regarding /usr/local/share/info being a read only filesystem...

Installing BlendOS on Gnome Boxes

Hi I am a linux noob and have rarely used VMs in the past (hence why I am using Gnome Boxes as it is the most readily available.) I am able to boot into the live instance and go through the Installer yet when I get to the panel that actually installs anything it shows "Starting installation with blend-inst..." and the "Next" button is available right away. I have left it on this window for over a half hour yet nothing else appears....
