Firefox won't open
New Linux user here, installed Bazzite on my laptop yesterday to free myself from Windows 11. It's pretty great but Firefox and Librewolf wont run. Firefox gives me a crash report while Librewolf just loads for a moment and then doesn't open.
Solutions I've tried:
- uninstalling/reinstalling the Firefox flatpak
- disabling Wayland windowing system/enabling fallback to X11 windowing system...
Cannot open access to console, root account is locked.
im getting this issue, im assuming because i tried to mount my ntsf game drive. i was able to game for it on awhile but this issue came up
im not sure why this happening. is it better to format my game drive to a exfat so its more compatible for bazzite. also i am dual booting my system for context so i want to share my library between windows and bazzite...
New install not booting on second boot, disk mounting problem?
Hi, so I've done a new install wiping one disk that had OpenSUSE Slowroll installed on it and keeping two others as-they-were because they just held games and backups. First boot after installation worked fine, but when I try to re-boot I get the splash screen forever with no progress. I've attached a screenshot of what I can see when I look at the boot process.
I think it is failing to mount a disk but I cannot find the fstab when I've booted into a recovery live USB, can anyone help?...

what i said with the title! f6 is the button to turn the brightness up when i plugged in another screen jt shows this... can someone help me please, its just a box i can type stuff into. .. im so lost.. more to note when i turn the laptop off it turns itself back on
i figured this has happened last night when i had it on for a game to download i obviously turned the screen to the lowest brightness so i could sleep and later put the screen down without turning it off
my kde connect cant tell that its on either...
Laptop doesn't stay asleep
Hi, i just installed Bazzite with KDE on a HP Victus 16 laptop and it works great and all but i can't put it to sleep. Well it goes to sleep but after a few seconds it just wakes up out of nothing.
I have already tried disabling GPP0 and GPP1 (and absolutely everything, one by one and even all at the same time) from /proc/acpi/wake but it doesn't work. As a matter of fact i don't have a Gygabite motherboard since this is an HP laptop. It has an hp 8934 motherboard with a ryzen 5000 and Radeon RX 5500m.
The output of journalctl -b | grep -i wake is the following screenshot. it basically says that NetworkManager requested the waking. So I figured that by disabling NetworkManager the problem should be solved but i have tried disabling the service and the dispatchers with no luck since it still woke up after a few seconds and journalctl still says it was NetworkManager. And I really wonder how is that possible ?...
