desktop not saving changes

Custom keyboard layouts

New to Linux - please be patient with me :] I'm considering dual-booting Bazzite on my laptop (haven't installed anything yet), but I use a custom keyboard layout, specifically a variant of Colemak. The place I got the layout from only has files for Windows, and using this keyboard layout is very important to me. So, does Bazzite have support for adding new keyboard layouts? If yes, how would it be installed, and what would be the best way to find/create an installation file for my specific layout?...

DP audio not working from Nvidia 4060Ti

looking for some help. Switch from Windows. I got games from steam and such are working great. The issue is audio over DP is not. I do have an engineering background but this is kicking my butt. I see the nvidia audio hdmi installed. Stats of the machine can be viewed here https://paste.centos.org/view/d70386d7. I see that my intel device is there but it is denied access. However I am not using that device.

Any way to increase color vibrancy/saturation in Bazzite?

I built a new computer with new-ish hardware (7600x + 9070) and I put Bazzite (KDE + No Gaming Mode) on it. Aside from a little jank and unfamiliarity, it's been going well. However, there is one visual problem: the colors look so washed out. I like good color vibrancy, and despite turning both of my monitor's (AOC 2590G4 and AOC 2460G5) Saturation (called Game Color) to the max, the colors still look relatively dull. I somewhat fixed the brightness vibrancy with monitor settings, but the colors still look dull. I've done some research and it's not looking good. I've read about how adjusting color saturation and vibrancy and other color settings directly is not possible on Wayland. I've also read about ddcutil/ddcui, but I doubt that'll help me when my monitor saturation is already at the max. I've also ready about how installing packages via a package manager is not a thing on Bazzite, that it's immutable. I have been considering getting a new monitor to compliment my new hardware, but I doubt that will fix my vibrancy problem. Is there any hope aside from "Wait for this functionality to be added to Wayland"? Thank you. P.S. My color display settings is "Display Configuration" are as follows: ...

disable SUPERGFX

Hi I have a Razar Laptop with rtx 4070 and a i7 I just enabled SUPERGFX through ujust, but now my system is having issues shutting down completly and rebooting. How do I disable SUPERGFX or fix the issue, when I go to the SUPERGFX gui it just tells me that it "can´t connect to daemon" it worked at first but now is broken. Thank you for your help 😄

Rebased to Nvidia, now I'm having issues. Please help.

Hey guys, I rebased from the AMD KDE Gamemode -> AMD KDE Desktop and had no problems. I then became extremely frustrated with dealing with DP adapters because AMD doesn't have HDMI 2.1 support on Linux. I then rebased to bazzite-nvidia-open:stable, shutdown my PC, and then reinstalled my 4070 super. The problem is now on boot it randomly boots into bazzite:stable or bazzite-nvidia-open:stable. I sometimes don't even see the menu to choose which one to boot into. The next time I finally boot into bazzite-nvidia-open:stable again, is there a way to permanently delete bazzite:stable? Has anyone else had this problem? Thank you....

All other drives are read-only and can't be changed

I just added bazziate to my computer that ran on windows 11 and I have multiple other drives that I can use. I can see all the files on those drives, but they are set to read-only. If I go into properties, it says I should have access, but when I click apply, bazzite tells me I don't have permission. Is this something to do with how Windows is also installed on my computer? How do I make these drives available to me?

Reboot into Windows Issue

Device: ROG Ally X with Fedora 42 After cloning my SSD to a new, larger one, The "reboot into Windows" option in Handheld Daemon no longer works, and I have to access the Bios menu to do so. Windows reboot into Fedora just fine, but vice versa isn't possible now. Worth mentioning that I had to modify the boot priority once I turned on the new SSD to put Fedora first again....

Desktop Lutris Game not displaying correctly

Ayaneo Air Plus: Having an issue on Bazzite where when I play games on my desktop (due to Lutris not working on steam game mode) my game plays full screen but only on half the screen? As if it’s centred incorrectly… can’t for the life of me work it out.

Steam Deck OLED Left Trackpad not scrolling in desktop mode

I am having a problem with my left trackpad where in gaming mode, it is working as intended. However, in desktop mode, normally it is supposed to scroll up and down, which is not working. I went to the controller settings on Steam (in desktop mode) and made sure that it is set up with that behavior which it is. I’m stumped because I am not sure how to get this fixed since the left trackpad is registering my inputs (I feel the haptic).

Flow Z13: Change TDP of HHD presets

Is it possible to change the TDP of the presets in HHD? I was looking for some sort of config file, but could not find any. I want the fan profile of the silent preset but use less than the 40 Watt in silent mode. The fan profile of the custom TDP mode is more aggressive than silent preset and the using the custom fan setting does not help as the fan speed is faster than with the silent preset, even at 0%....

EVE Online Steam login issue

I just installed Bazzite on my Laptop, set up steam and installed EVE. Logged in my usual Accounts but when i want to login via Steam the browser opens, I authenticate and I get the "Logging you in" page from EVE but nothing happens in the launcher. Has anyone encountered this before and can help me out?...

Black screen after login

Desktop, nvidia. Everything was working great until one reboot and now I get a black screen with a frozen cursor in the middle. I've tried every solution I could find. At this point I'm willing to reinstall entirely but I'm not even sure how to do that. But I'd rather not do that if I can. I can at least get into the console from the login screen. If I try x11, it forces me back to the login screen.

Hp omen 16 stability issue

I have a HP omen 16 with Ryzen 7 5800h the problem with this thing is It always drops the voltage too low that the screen actually has artefacts and sometimes driver crashes on windows someone made a program to fix this but sadly it only works on windows is there a way I can run that program on bazzite or is there a Linux version of said program or a way to control my İgpu voltage (https://github.com/kb2288/amd-gpu/releases the app)
