JoinEnergy Density and Pressure
so we were taught in class that electrostatic energy density is actually electrostatic pressure which is equal to 1/2(e)(E)^2
Mechanics doubt
Could someone explain the Virtual Work Theorem to me? The ΣTiai = 0 thing hasn't made sense to me at all, and my teacher didn't even teach it last year. I couldn't even find it in any of my go-to books, and whenever I look up 'Virtual Work Theorem', I get the d'Alembert concept of virtual displacements, which is not what I want.
Earthing of conductors
For zero potential of the earthed shells, why are we considering shell B as well. Shell B is grounded, sure, but it isn't connect to either shell A or C. Shouldn't we have made separate cases?

GOC
This question confused me a little
for the last option Benzene will be a more stable carbocation than the carbocation of 5th , but benzene is more stable than 5th and protonation will be harder , when given situations like these what to do...

Zumdahl solidstate marathon
First of all I apologise to sir that I m currently out station so can't solve questions...but like in this question I wanted to know ki first wale se kch khaas vaisa result nhin nikla but in the second one partial fraction se density compare krke jo total density ayega usse volume of an atom se multiply krke M ka mass aa jayega n...similarly done with anion...and then we will get back to the step a wala equation...I ain't sure if I m going the right way

haloalkane
how to like get the realtion of reactivity in these type of ques where different functional groups are there and when the double bond is realtivly in differnt posititons to the halogen atom

Electric potential doubt
Doubt in Q27
how is electric heating related to electric potential?
This is from cengage chapter 3
Heating effect is in chapter 6...

Polynomial
I'm using Descartes rule of signs, and getting 1 sign change in f(x) and 4 sign changes in f(-x) meaning 5 real roots so acc to me then sum of non real roots should be 0, but that's not correct.
So what's the mistake?...
