This is a bug with Twitch and certain web browsers and devices. Until Twitch addresses the issue, please try activating the Overlay Expert Twitch Extension using the following browsers/devices:

Why don't overlays load while viewing live stream on PC or on extension configuration screen?
This issue seems to be related to your computer, operating system, or browser settings and maybe your Twitch account itself. If you are experiencing this issue, please try the following:
1. If the time or timezone on your PC is incorrect, try correcting and configuring the time and timezone on your PC. It is recommended to let your OS to set the time and time zone automatically.
2. Sign out of Twitch, clear your browser cache, sign back into Twitch and try again.

Why can't I see my overlay in past broadcasts or clips?
No Twitch Extension can overlay the video on past broadcasts, clips or VODs; this is a limitation of the Twitch Extension Platform itself and not of Overlay Expert.
💡 Tip: If you are using past broadcasts or clips to create content for YouTube or other platforms, it is better to start with the raw video (without overlays and alerts) and use video editing software, such as Clipchamp or iMovie, to add graphics and create a compilation of stream highlights....
Broadcasting with a webcam with the Twitch Extension
If you are streaming with the Twitch Extension, the only way to broadcast with a webcam is through your console.
For PlayStation 4, connect the PlayStation Camera and follow these instructions: https://support.playstation.com/s/article/PlayStation-Camera-Setup-Info. Note: the PlayStation 4 does not support other webcams.

Alerts and how to add them to your overlay
From the Builder, create a new layer, and then under Layer Settings, expand the Alerts section. Once there, change the Type to Event-based and then configure your alert.
The Show time is the amount of time in milliseconds the alert will show. Start with a Show time of
5000-10000 ms (or 5-10 seconds).
The Slow-mode time will cause alerts that follow a previous alert within this time period to be ignored. Set this to 0 ms....Who should I contact if I have billing-related questions?
