OVH VPS
Hi, I am currently on the 4GB pebble host budget plan, and Im looking at the OVH VPS with 4v Cores and 8GB ram,
Im thinking of switching over, but I cannot find any specs for the CPU.
Does anyone have any advice for me or any experience with OVH?

I have no experience with OVH, but they don't really disclose the specs I think. I would guess some older Xeon Scalable. 4€/month is not much so you cant really expect a high performance cpu.

Self hosted server behind CGNAT
Is there a service that has you install a client server side that then punches a tunnel through your isp's restrictions (like ngrok) so that players can connect to your server without you having to port forward?
I have gotten a desktop that I can finally use to make a server. (gaming is a pain on it but as a server it is good)
Now I am hitting restrictions with the fact that my stupid isp doesn't allow port forwarding. I've seen people on reddit talk about how much of a pain it was to get their public IP and not behind whatever CGNAT is.
I tried playit.gg and that thing has the worst ping ever....

I used the tcp port and turned on warp 1.1.1.1 on my server
Help with VPS Hosting
Hi, short introduction. We're running a(trying to) SMP with 20-50 Players. Maximum of 53. I wanna host this with a VPS and not a hosting provider to have more control. We have a few mods (50 light ones, not big technical stuff) and want to disable elytras. Will a Hetzner server be alright? I don't want to spend more than 40€ per Month. I was gonna pre load chunks and go with a (yes bad single core perf.) AMD epyc 7002 for example. The good hetzner CPU's have a 39€ upfront payment needed..
I'm open for questions etc!! I might reply in 10h because I might be asleep.

Some players experience lag and disconnect randomly
Hey everyone, I have a seemingly impossible problem - let's see if someone here can help me.
I host a Fabric Minecraft server on my VPS using CraftyController, and every few hours some of the players (who has the problem differs every time) experience a lot of lag and sometimes get kicked. The connection is stable otherwise.

ItemShops bug where items get duplicated (ItemShops 1.6.2.2 - PaperMC 1.21.8)
Hi, i recently installed Itemshops in my PaperMC server as it fits perfectly with what we want, but upon testing it, we have seen that the items in a shop's chest do not get removed after someone buying them, thus duplicating them.
Anybody know why this might be happening, or knows how to fix it?

so i have a server with 10gb ram and its always using about 8gb. is that normal? at the moment im only one on the server and cpu usage is around 7%
Any way to have Litematica EasyPlace work on a Paper server.
At the moment, EasyPlace doesnt place blocks in the correct orientation, and I am running a Paper server so I cant run Carpet Mod on the server side to fix it the usual way. Is there any way I could get EasyPlace to work on a paper server without switching over to a fabric server?
I know there is a plugin "SpigotAccurateBlockPlacement" that should fix this but it only supports up to 1.19 ....
HELP: Why do all players in our Minecraft server have /ptime set as day by default and wont move.
Noticed that players that just joined the server have ptime set as day. Is there a fix for this? Thank you.
Help with gradually TPS drops from 20 in the first 10 minutes of the starting server in Forge Server
Hi all and good evening. I am having issues with my Forge 1.20.1 Server in which my tps drops from 20 after 5 minutes on fresh start or 14 tps when restarting server. I have made a spark profile report but i do not know how to read it. I have tried the following:
1. Used/Using optimization mods - At first it felt like it work but later dropped off regardless
2. Removed some horror mods in my server in which it did kind of improve a bit but still drops insanely...

Hey guys, so i have a few questions...
i have a server on modrinth.. fabric 0.17.2, minecraft 1.21.7 / minecraft launcher: modrinth
i want a minimap+map+browser map for my server... i dont want it to overpowerd like i want it to only show me stuff i have already discovered... i also dont wanna see where like caves and mobs are n shit ... so i have used Xaero's Minimap/Map for now but its just showing to much and i dont really understand the settings? Second thing... i want like the map also be able to open in a browser tab... i know this can work bcz i had it on a different server like 1 year ago or so but i am to stoopid to set this up again - is this even possible in 21.7? Also i wanna like see my friends in realtime on the map.. and in best case we all see the same map so when my friend discovers smth i can also see this on the map 🙂 ...

1.20 server keeps crashing when too many chunks are loaded at once?
so, ive been working on this modded server and yesterday it finally went live but it was a bust.
it kept crashing over and over and reverting back like 10 min each time. the crash dose NOT happen in a single player world, ONLY in a server
after a lot of testing i found out that it was because of too ma y chunks being loaded at the same time.
but now i need to know how to fix this problem or if its a mod causing the problem?? ...

Updating to 1.21.8
after updating my server from 1.21.4 to 1.21.8 all my mobs etc are "outdated" so my leaves dont fall on the ground or my wolfes dont even make the new sounds and the pigs are old pink too and when i fly away to new chunks they have all the new stuff is there anything i can do to fix this?
