HELP IM NEW AND DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO =[

So I recently made a world for me and gf but while I was playing. This thing came up and kicked me. I don’t know what to do or how to fix it and I’m seriously stressing TwT. Updating to 1.21.8

after updating my server from 1.21.4 to 1.21.8 all my mobs etc are "outdated" so my leaves dont fall on the ground or my wolfes dont even make the new sounds and the pigs are old pink too and when i fly away to new chunks they have all the new stuff is there anything i can do to fix this?

Network Protocol / player_info_update Errors

After updating the server from purpur 1.21.4 to purpur 1.21.7 ( now .8 ) Some players including me get random disconnects either saying "Network Protocol Error" or "Player_info_update" is there a way to fix this as it's getting real annoying. I'm suspecting its caused by ViaVersion but idk.

I am making a purpur MC 1.16.5 server that requires java 16 and it needs Anti-Cheat

I am reviving an old server called Project Zombie and I am almost done. All I need to add is anti-cheat really and all I can find that is compatible is a few free ones. Is there a hard to bypass anti-cheat plugin for MC purpur 1.16.5 that doesn't also punish legit players with false positives? Additionally, it would be nice to finally find a queue plugin (can't find one that is compatible with google). Also a way to let players use a held compass and its needle to point at the nearest player...

Playstation players cannot connect to my Bedrock Dedicated Server

I have a bit of a complex server setup. Basically I need to route my server traffic through Oracle Cloud, then tunnel the traffic into my home network via Tailscale so I can bypass my ISPs CGNAT. Players can connect using Oracles public IPv4 address, and I can use my own domain and port. I have an instance of MCXboxBroadcast running (A tool that broadcasts your server over Xbox live so consoles can connect by joining through a friend). This setup works for the most part. Everyone except Playstation players can connect. Mobile, PC, Xbox, and Switch have no issues connecting. When I player tries to connect using a Playstation, they connect to the MCXboxBroadcast session just fine, but after the transfer to the server, it just sits on “connecting to external server” forever and eventually times out. ...

Bedrock players can't switch server with /cmi server [servername]

Hi, I have a small bungee network. Java players can switch to any of them with /cmi server [name] But I have added a new lobby server and this is where im getting the issue. Bedrock players are getting: Kicked whilst connecting to lobby: Unable to authenticate - no data was forwarded by the proxy but they can connect to my other older servers fine. And no, I didnt put geyser on the lobby backend server. still only on the proxy....

HP Laptop questions

Hey, so I’m running a Vanilla Minecraft server off of an HP laptop running Linux. I got the laptop around 2019 and have some questions. Will keeping my laptop on all night for a few days a week have any long lasting damage? Only on weekends normally but sometimes more. Does keeping it plugged in past 100% do harm to the battery? I know this used to be an issue with older computers....

There are various errors just like this when players do anything on the server. For example, fishing or going to the nether. I can not find anything on google about what this means and how I can fix it

How do custom textured Inventories work on a Spigot server ?

I've been looking into custom GUI and menus, and I know there a lot of plugin that can help you make UI like the one in the photo (MCC Island). But I can't figure out wow you make it ! Like I know it's a resource pack trick but wow do you show that texture to specific inventories ?

Crash On Startup

Trying to startup my new server with a new NeoForge modpack and it gives me this method whenever I try to start it up. No sure whatException in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: 1.0.5-mc1.21+: Empty pre-release really means. Whats causing the issue and is there a known fix?...

I tried installing a different modpack and it didnt work on install. So i figure its two things a.) The automautic installer for EnviroMC is bugged. It detects the modlist and downloads the latest version of each mod, even if its not the one in the actual modpack. b.) when using neoforge, it makes a server.jar file. Instead of using that server.jar file in -jar server.jar, I should've just done ./run.sh...

CoreProtect Duplicates Items

Hello there! I recently noticed that when an area or player is rolledback with CoreProtect, items are typically duplcated. If a player were to steal items from a player's chest, then we did a rollback to the chest, or the area that the chest is in, the items that were stolen will be replenished, but they will not be removed from the player that took them. If a player builds a house out of diamond blocks, then a griefer breaks the house and leaves the diamond blocks on the ground, when we rollback the damage that the griefer did, the house made out of diamond blocks will be replenished and if there are still diamond blocks on the ground, those will remain on the ground. If any bypassers pick up the diamond blocks that were broken prior to the rollback, they will still have them after the rollback. We could attempt to track down every item that was picked up or removed from a chest within the radius of the grief, but that's time consuming and if someone obfuscates the items, it will be even more time consuming to recover all of the stolen items. What is the best way to mitigate the potential of items being duplicated from rollbacks? Is there a viable solution to this issue, or would every item have to be manually confiscated and destroyed?...
