Command Help
Using MC version 1.20.6, Java. Keep in mind, I have found that due to using Essentials, I have to put "minecraft:" into most commands to get them to work (example: must use "/minecraft:tp" and not "/tp").
I am trying to use a command block to give me a clickable sign that runs two commands. I have used the code I know, and I have tried using modified code from YT tutorials...and I cannot get it to work.
The 2 commands I am trying to run when the sign is clicked is 1) kill the minecart the player is inside of....2) tp the player ~ ~0.5 ~ from their current location....

how do you guys pregenerate the world when you start a new server? i have bad internet, so generating it in singleplayer and then uploading it would take ages. any recommendations for doing it on the server?

What's the best way to implement custom blocks with resource packs in 2025?
I want to add special blocks for my adventure multiplayer world without affecting the survival world. Is using unobtainable blocks like petrified double slabs still the way to go? If so, what blocks would you recommend to replace?

Are bisect servers safe against people trying to backdoor?
A griefer has been on my friends server and I think it could possibly be someone backdoored the server as they have stacks of tnt within a way to small border (which could be duping) and they changed game rules by turning off mob grief and more importantly keep inventory off. We have a handful of mods but my friend added them and they are all pretty popular and none were added by the members. Could this be a possibility?
Ps: we use curseforge and the server is bisect...

im trying to make it that so on top on paid ranks, there's also ranks players can unlock through doing specific tasks like completing quests, no. of hours played, doing certain commands like /rules /warp name etc, ive tried multiple times with vanguardranks and autoranks and i can't get either of them to work, they either rank them up automatically taking the players money without the player confirming that they want to do that task, have no gui (autorank) or they dont support the place holders i want for players to achieve the rank (vanguard ranks). i have luckperms installed for in-game-ranks and paid ranks, heres what the latest path/config files looked like for each plugin before i gave up

Solution:
Just use luck perms and deluxe menus. Create a requirement for your rank and when you click it, it gives a new perm. There's more to it but you can check out the wiki for deluxe menu
Self Host Server Keeps Crashing/closing on itself
Hey im running a neoforge server and im not sure whats making it close/crashing itself when im playing alone in the server its fine it doesnt usualy crash but with friends it crashes alot

Inconsistent loot drops with an unknown cause
(Forge 1.20.1) Anyone know of an issue that causes mobs spawned from other mobs to not drop anything? examples include bred/ farmed animals and small slimes/ magma cubes

A bit late but I figured it out, somehow a mod called V-Minus was causing this issue
Best Anti-Cheat For No-Rules/No-Bans Public Java Server?
Want an anti-cheat setup that can kick people and prevent them from cheating as much as possible without perma banning them and without admin interference or commands needed.
Basically just an anti-cheat thats works on its own and does as much as it can without causing issues for vanilla players. Thankyou....

Hello, I am having trouble with port forwarding for my Minecraft server. I successfully hosted the server before, and after repeating the same steps, players were able to connect. However, now I followed the exact same steps again, but this time itโs not working and players cannot join.

Set a static local IP on my server machine...
