Why won't itemsadder work for my server, we installed the newest protocollib and it still doesn't work, we add it and it crashes the server, and we delete it and the server works. Help Please!!

extremely slow chunky pre-generation

i am using chunky to pregenerate a forge 1.20.1 server, and chunky is generating chunks at only 2 chunks per second. the server has 130-ish mods and it runs with 10GB ram allocated on an oracle cloud server

Name tags and holograms

Does anyone one know of a mod or plugin that makes name tags and holograms invisible behind blocks. Not just client but server side for all players?

Hosting Multiple Servers off a single PC?

In short... I already have my port-forwarding rules for my server(s) set-up however I have also noticed you can set for a pack to run off a set IP in the server.properties file? Can this essentially allow for multiple servers to run off the same port-forwarding rule as long as they have different IPs set in their server.properties files? Also not essential buuut... any recommended plugins ...

Considering domain change

Hello! I'm considering changing the domain of my server. I'm wondering if its a hard task to change the domains of different applications like my Minecraft server itself and my Pterodactyl panel. Could someone tell me if this is easy to do or not?

Temp hologram

So I use decent holograms. Does someone have some skript code to spawn a hologram at a specific location (200 60 200) and make it disappear after 10 seconds? I want to execute this skript using /chatbubble...

How can i improve my MSPT

My server runs 9-12 mspt with a tick warp test but i am aiming for about 4-6mspt so i have the most amount of room to run farms below 50mspt, i am running 12400f with 32 gigs of 3200mhz ddr4 ram and a void world idles and tick sprints at about 0.4-0.8mspt with same mods and datapacks as the world i am loading

Carrying over data, upgrading fabric server

This is a stupid question, but I gotta ask. I plan on running a 1.20.1 server and later upgrading it to a 1.21.1 server. Is upgrading the version and mods to a brand new version going to remove playerdata? I.e. modded items that were had under the last versions will be deleted/gone?

NameCheap subdomain configuration problems

Hi! Im having a couple issues configuring my subdomains for my server. My setup is two different servers with two different ports (25565 and 25564) and I would like to have them on different subdomains (Vanilla and Modded). Right now, with this configuration only the modded port works to join from the domain, and its not from the modded.justsomeitstuff.com its from the vanilla.justsomeitstuff.com, which is not how I have it configured in namecheap. Sorry for being a bother, theres so little info...

Port forwarding and getsocketopt error

Hello, I've been having many problems trying to port-forward my home server recently, all resulting in 'Connection refused: getsocketopt' i've read every relevant post I could find online, and haven't seen a solution that could help. The server is running on ubuntu 24.04 with cubecoders AMP and webmin installed; my stopgap solution has just been to use tailscale to connect but i'd rather avoid this when others start to play. Tailscale and playit.gg both work, as well as connecting with the internal ip. The port (the server is on 2566) is open with TCP-UDP, as I've tested it with an online tool. I have also allowed all relevant apps through the firewall on the linux machine, and I've tried to get people to connect with our public ip (I've already checked a few different ways for CGNAT, it's not an issue) ...

Dealing with people who mine spawners

I want to deter it but not totally outlaw it. Perhaps some kind of hidden stat that tracks how many times youve done it, which causes a super-scary monster to hunt you the more you do it? Idk, brainstorming here

Network Protocol Error connecting 1.21.5 client to 1.21.4 server

Client log is attached. Normal 1.21.5 can connect so idk which mod is breaking it. My normal culprits of ViaFabricPlus and Essential arent it - already tested removing those. Using Prism launcher I just copied the instance and then updated MC version and mods. It loads up just fine to the server selection screen. I do have console access but the server just shows as if Im connecting and disconnecting normally. ...

anyone tryna help me whenever i extract a server folder it doesnt put mods in the mod folder and like itd take ages to put all them in one by one and it wont let me upload a folder

Solution:
If anyone else is interested in this post I can say that I have found ways to make the general server have almost no problems up to 17 players with the same hardware I've added several optimization mods aimed towards entity and command ticks. And dimensional threads. When I get home I will give more information and do more research on CPU pinning...

Villages Not Generating [Cobblemon]

I run a modded Cobblemon server on Fabric for a growing group of friends, and it's working great, but noticed recently that villages stopped generating in new chunks. Right now, this isn't a problem, as our map was pre-generated out to 10k with Chunky a long time ago, but I need villages to generate on my test server so I can test new village-centric mods/datapacks. Attached is our current modlist. During testing, I removed all datapacks and resourcepacks and it still refuses to work. I suspect there's a mod doing this, but I'm slowly losing my mind trying to figure out which one....
Solution:
Closing this, going to do a bisect on our modpack to figure this out. Current development branch that the testing server is on is broken, so the logs are contaminated. Sorry for the bother.

Prevent cheating on a fabric server

I have a minecraft server with around 15 people, and I have a feeling someone has been using hacks of some sort, however i cannot prove it but i want to stop it from happening. How do I stop people from finding hidden bases using pie chart, and chest finder or any other means that are available in 1.21.5 java? I already have anti-xray mod installed. Thanks!...
