Issue getting Dedicated server running with mods.
Hello everyone,
This is a newbie question 100% but here we go.
- My friend and I went through vanilla satisfactory yesterday on my dedicated server on my computer.
- Now we want to start again with mods instead. I have the mod profile we want to use.
- For some reason I can't seem to get a proper server to load with the mods....
Solution:
Go to "Select Game Installation" at the top left of SMM and choose the server from the drop down box
Cannot install Community railway set (blueprints)
I can install other mods just fine like infinite nudge, but mods adding blueprints gives this error (see screenshot).
This is a Linux based server on the same network as my main computer and is accessed via SMB folder. I play alone on this server....
Solution:
You can download the mod archive from ficsit.app (or install the mod on a client-only profile), and grab the blueprints from there, or directly from SCIM, which is where the mod got the blueprints in the first place

Solution:
right click the game in steam, go to properties, then put -dx11 in the box labelled "launch options"
I've been having this issue off and on for a week or so.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling SMM, including deleting left over files etc.
It did happen a few times with local mod installs too, but that seams to have stopped, only happens on the server now. Any help would be appreaciated....
