Parametric guide shapes: cone, torus etc

Torus, cylinder, triangle, cone with the ability to be stretched like the current guides. Would be cool where you could hollow the thickness of each of these guides too, similar to sculpting programs like modeler with a slider.

add Spotify to logins in config

This would be awesome for multiplayer where everyone can jam out to the same tunes while painting a scene together. Total party mode or set the mood for a genre. Would be a fun addition esp with audioreactives. One person would be the host for the group.

The ability for video files associated with a sketch to be renamed when naming a sketch

If a file name of a sketch is changed, it would be helpful if vid files associated with "Untitled #" are also changed at the same time including bat and usda.

Ability to create a "canvas base" that groups with a picture

What i would like to have is a way to attach a structure that is snapped to an image, or extruded based on the image dimensions, effectively making it a joined 3d image.
By giving depth to the piece it would be easier to so things like place 2d artwork in a scene as part of a set.
Aligning this is often quite tricky due to a slight angle creating clipping and too wide a distance between the image and the base causing a noticeable gap if not viewed head on. Something like this would allow it to be set into a hull brushed area relatively easily.
Ideally the tool would have a depth setting (so you could make it thin or quite deep.) ...

The ability to add posable figure models as a guides/reference

Many might find this useful..or add it to a standard tool library with samples within an additional folder like pics/models/ etc

A brush where a joystick controls the color

i wish there was a way i could control the color in real time, or at least real time when i start each stroke, where the joystick is like a color wheel and i can point the joystick in different directions to get different colors

Display Extension in Models Library It would be super helpful to show whether the imported model is a Glb/fbx/obj/stl, etc. Especially when importing from the export folders, because each version displays as the same. Loading previews is time consuming, so it's nice to be able to differentiate.
model size would be nice additional information on scrollover. ...

spectator camera preview as UI window/panel 📹🤳🖼

Forgive me if this is already in the beta, but when I have a spectator camera it’d often help to have a little preview window UI panel I can see & use same as the other UI panels. Would help a lot knowing what the spectator camera is seeing exactly when doing live performances...

option for spectator camera to lock in a scene position & scale 🔒🎥…..🌄

Id like to be able to have a spectator camera that I can place around like normal, but that when I scale myself down or move around it doesn’t default follow me and instead it’s as if I can get small and move around the view in 3D

option to hide all UI panels in spectator mode 🙈🫣

I use OB to do live performances and often the UI panels show up. I try to keep them out of my direct line of sight but they still come into view sometimes. I’d love for a setting so the audience getting HDMI projections don’t see the UI at all, and just see my drawing

ability to reorganize brushes to make flipping between favorites quicker/easier

Assuming this isn’t already in the beta, often the brushes I might want to flip between while sculpting in live performances or on my own, the brushes I want are on opposite sides of all the panels so I have to flip through and look instead of ideally being able to switch quick and easily

Ability to paint on the inverse side of a set of guides.

Could be useful for painting skyboxes or inside surfaces in general.

Blur/ vignette option for backgrounds

Along with the separation of color/brush strokes and png transparancy this option would be able to help create pictures/ videos gifs with depth in game. The camera now has the option to vignette/ blur for pics. If it is added to the skyboxes, people can create interesting depth effects.

The ability to select all by brush type or color

Ex. Use the pointer to select the brush stroke/color you want then have the ability where it selects all of the same type.

Transparency with the Camera tool

Would be a great feature to add to camera options to remove the OB background when taking photos of models to provide more options in post.

The ability to add an animation component in Unity as part of the SDK

There could be many uses for this:
Add an animated reveal for galleries etc with the ability to increase/decrease speed of the animation as well as a reversal of the animation Use the camera path animations in a project with the sketch Transfer standard animations from one sketch to another (similar to typical geonode animations where you can easily change parameters of X,Y,Z to a game object or part of one.)...

Improved UV coordinates for Hull brushes

@zandyxr has reported issues with some hull brush UV coords for some workflows.

Audio Reactivity on Quest and Pico

This is a great feature in Tilt Brush. Can Quest or Pico handle this? Any plans to add this feature back in?

Named Groups / Saved Selections

3ds max has always had a feature to quickly save the current selection to a list and give it a name. It's something you use all the time and it enables quite powerful workflows.

Export layer or group directly to models

When exporting out items that you plan to re-use (such as models/objects/collections of brush strokes) would be helpful for them to be moved to the models library (or one designed for that purpose). This would facilitate access, particularly on the quest where exported models have to be transferred in order to be usable
