Fallout GOTY not launching

"The Program Fallout4Launcher.exe has encountered a serious error and needs to close" First time I have used Heroic Launcher so may have missed something

Solution:

GOG Robocop: Rogue City fails to launch (Arch Linux)

No window, no fullscreen environment, bombs out immediately upon reaching "playing" state. System, HGL, & game all updated to latest, I have the latest Wine dependencies for my system. I've tried various Proton/Wine (deleting the prefix folder in between each attempt): GE-Proton latest, 10-17, 9-27, 8-24 & Wine-GE latest, Proton8-26, Proton8-4, wine-10.16 (staging), all with "auto install/update dxvk" enabled & vcrun2022 installed via winetricks, wine versions with "auto install/update dxvk-nvapi" enabled & vkd3d installed via winetricks. I even tried setting the Windows version to win10. No dice. Should note that I've successfully run Witcher 3, Jedi Survivor, Batman Arkham seris & other AAA titles @ 1440p with very high settings, rarely have issues (thanks HGL 👍 ). ...

How to input these steam launch options in heroic launcher?

Hi, there's a problem with old unity games described here with a solution but it's written with steam in mind, how would I Input this in to heroic launcher?

Compiled them and passed to game, Steam Runtime enabled also

dinput8.dll problem

When i added nfsmw 2005 in heroic, it working fine but i have some mods. In order to make it works, dinput8.dll must be loaded but heroic can't loaded it so game running with pure vanila (no mods) how can i fix it?

Fall guys Launch Error - Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed.

HI, I have Fall Guys installed on Windows 11 via the Heroic Launcher, but when I try to open it, I get a launch error (Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed). I can launch it perfectly fine on Linux, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I believe that Anti-Cheat should come bundled with the game installation.

Hm, usually EAC gets installed automatically, yes. You can try installing it manually by opening a command prompt and running this:

Problem: Player ID badges not appearing in Rocket League

I have a question, why don't the player ID tags appear in Rocket League? (The ID tags are the names that appear above the cars in Rocket League). Does anyone know how to fix this? Because it's difficult to play and it can be hard to see your opponents. Frontier Hunter Erza Starts, there is a sound games should be running but the screen stay black

Hi Guys, i'm running Steam deck lcd on epic games for heroic launcher. At first game cannot be launched. I try to run the games in Desktop mode and it can run fine.. Steam OS´ Frame Rate and TDP Limit in games installed through heroic (Steam Deck)

Hello! I bought a deck and I´ve been playing around with it for a few weeks but I do have a question that I haven´t been able to find answered through google. I have a bunch of epic games so I naturally installed heroic and added them to steam to play them but one thing I´ve noticed is that steam OS frame rate limit or TDP limit are not working in those. I feel there is something silly I´m missing like a launch command. Is this normal? Thanks!...

Most games not launching

I recently switched over to Linux Mint and instaelled Heroic Games Launcher. I use it to launch my games from Epic and GOG, and everything was working fine. Games would launch, and with the exception of one having issues that have to do with the graphics card on Linux, things have worked pretty well. GameMode ERROR: D-Bus error: Did not receive a reply

I was playing Hollow Knight earlier on the native Linux build. My controller went weird and I ended up restarting my computer. After the restart, Hollow Knight no longer launches. Blue Protocol reliable Crashing

Since Steam cant run because of ACE Epic games install seems to work and worked flawlessly all day yesterday. from this morning I can log in and play for a bit then it just freezes. Nothing has changed on my system that I know. but the log file attached shows quite a lot of flags for me. the freeze plays the music segment to finish. so something else is going on.(IMHO)...
