JoinHow to recover my saved files or stop losing it
I have been using the heroic launcher for awhile but I always lose my save files. I was recently playing football manager and I was really invested into my rebuild then I lost my save files. I deleted the game and reinstalled it but I couldn’t recover them. How to stop losing my save files once and for all?
Can't play with friends on fall guys
I enabled the EOS overlay and selet the epicgameservices.exe file into the wineconfig button, but when I open the menu to invite some friends, my game crash, or nothing happen, without the epic menu.
Also, in the heroic launcher, I'm not able to use "latest proton GE", otherwise the game simply won't launch... So I can't launch the game without wine-ge-proton8-26.
But this problem isn't only for fall guys, it's for all my games into the heroic launcher.
Can someone help me please ? I use endeavourOS and the appimage for the heroic launcher

Application not opening
I use the Heroic Launcher but one day it just stopped working and wont open now ive reset my PC and Reinstalled but it wont open Acorrding to Task Manager Its open but i cant do anything or Open Most Games
How to Add Game Data Folder to Heroic Game Import?
How can I add a game data folder to an imported game? The exe expects a folder with other data, but I can't add it to the install directory, and I don't see the game exe or path in the prefix folder. Is there an option somewhere to add my game data folder and dlls or do I need to move the folder and data somewhere? On Steamdeck via Flatpak. Thanks.

Okay, the game randomly started working after I tried launching it for the 3rd time
Road Redemption from Epic Games Store boots to a grey screen, then black, and nothing else happens.
As the title says. Tested on the PS4 via Arch Linux, as well as on my 4th gen i5 laptop under Manjaro. With the recommended default of GE Proton, the game won't launch at all and give a generic Unity Engine error popup that says nothing, just a loading bar.

NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti does not support DirectX 12 features
I had unrelated(?) issues with my second monitor, so I updated my NVIDIA drivers while running Linux OpenSUSE and changed to Debian 13 (NVIDIA driver 580) after problems persisted. Now, any game on Heroic is unable to launch with the error message: "Your graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti does not support DirectX12 features." For an older game, it says DirectX11 isn't supported. Games on Steam using DirectX12 run fine, so there is some issue with Heroic? Thanks for any help.
Proton_Log not generating
Proton log is not generating, if it is its not in home directory. Have proton_log in my env variables, other variables work just not proton log. using ge 10-11

if you are in a flatpak, it will be in .var
Returnal won't start
Hi there, I installed Returnal from Epic through Heroic, but it will not start. I tried several different Proton versions, but none of them work for me. Other games from the Epic store work fine.
I tried several fixes mentioned on ProtonDB (forcing dx11, disabling fsync/esync, using gamemode). Heroic is not installed as a flatpack and I checked if I had all the necessary dependencies installed.
Also: Thanks Discord that searching for "Returnal" lists every post containing "return" and not prividing a way to search for literal terms 🙁

I installed Heroic Games Launcher, linked it to my Epic Games account, and installed one game, but when I start it, I always get the error message “Path not found” and I can't find the problem. Thanks in advance.

2nd uninstallable copy of Fallout 3 GOTY in Library
Purchased Fallout 3 GOTY from Gog. On GoG account library I can confirm that only 1 copy of Fallout 3 GOTY shows up in my library. There is no DLC. Locally HGL shows Two cards for Fallout 3 GOTY. One of these cards allows me to install the game and launch the game. The other card is does not allow me to install the game and shows an error message that I should check my GoG account for downloadable content.
Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks...

I get to the main screen but it hangs at "signing in". I think I was able to sign in before but at some point it stopped working. Any idea how to refresh some login info or something?
Unreal Tournament 2004 will not run Linux native binary
So, I'll preface this with first stating, I obtained a digital purchase through GOG, which I understand does not include the Linux binaries. However, the original disc files do have the native Linux binaries found under System/ut2004-bin-linux-amd64 on the original disc.
Heroic absolutely will refuse, in any attempts, to run the file. It refuses to even appear when selecting All Files and trying to manually point to it. The entire folder has had the permissions loosened and the file itself is set to read-only. The game will run as normal with a simple desktop shortcut, natively.
UT2004 is a game that does not translate well and works best with the appropriate native binary. It suffers from hitching and stutters even on newer systems when working through WINE/Proton to try and run the Windows executable. I would like to see that this issue is alleviated in some way. The new patches from OldUnreal also work, regardless if you run the Windows or Linux binaries....
Cyberpunk 2077 worked fine. I installed Redmod and it died.

On Heroic Games Launcher, i downloaded Cyberpunk 2077 and the DLC Phantom Liberty. It worked fine, no lag, really no problems.
So i installed the DLC Redmod, and now... i can't play....
Lagging in games today. yesterday worked fine.
Lagging in Football manager and tested subnotica. they both worked fine before.
this started yesterday when i tried battlefield 6 on my windows drive.
This has happened a few week ago got fixed my itself after a few days maybe....
