fall guys exchange code

when i try to launch fall guys it just says some shi about an exchange code and to launch it from the official launcher. any work arounds? (repost)

Right, "Add Game" is a more general way of adding already-installed game to Heroic. So the assumption is that if you click "Add Game", you already have a game downloaded you want to add to Heroic. If this game is from Epic/GOG/Amazon, you shouldn't use that feature Since you don't have a game downloaded in the first place (at least that's what I've gathered from your past few messages), you don't want to do either. Just install the game normally...

PSO2 on Ubuntu 24

I'm running ubuntu a Dell Inc. Inspiron 3847 will original hardware. I'm trying to play PSO2 which worked fine on windows 10... mostly. Heroic installed just fine and PSO2 did too, i know that because the launcher works, but PSO2 won't run. I only got this far because of Grok. I have almost no idea what i'm doing, so advice would be very much appreciated....

Adding HGL to Steam

I've done this on my steam deck but on my desktop computers running Arch I'm having a problem. I've installed HGL via flatpak and everything is working when I run it and play games. However, one of my computers is set to start with Steam instead of Plasma, which puts me into game mode by default. I'd like to be able to launch HGL through steam game mode (as adding the games to steam via HGL just results in an infinite loading screen), but when I go to Add Non-Steam game from Plasma desktop, HGL doesn't show as an application I can add. Any fix for either games added to steam not launching or adding HGL as a non-steam game?...

Stuck Loading Star Dynasties

I'm stuck on the loading screen, its not progressing at all so I can't even reach the main menu. Cannot log in with Epic Games

Every time I try, it just sends me back to the log in page of the launcher and when I brought the URL to my browser it just says what is on the image

River City Girls (zero) not launching

https://0x0.st/K18E.log It it used to just work out of the box with no tweaks (Epic version) would just launch it from Steam Big picture and play. A while ago though it broke, and I haven't been able to narrow things down. I tried to revert to (probably) the Proton version that was last working 10-8 but I get out of host memory errors, since there's also been steam os updates since. Tried 10-9 as well, no dice. So on Proton GE-latest, I followed the logs to deal with some errors like disabling gamemode (could not load the lib), and uninstalling EOS....

change heroic (and prefix) location and can't run any games

so i changed both heroic and prefix location to other mounted ssd rather than my os ssd and then i can't launch any games. changed it back to their default location and the games run normally. i already changed per-ingame prefix too before and still not work

Windows download on Linux?

I use the heroic launcher in a bazzite system and am currently downloading Cyberpunk 2077 from GOG, when I noticed that it chose to download the windows version of the game instead of the Linux version. Is this intentional or did I do something wrong?

Solution:

There is no Linux version of Cyberpunk, even though we wish there was one. The game will run through Proton like it would on Steam...

Fallout GOTY not launching

GOG Robocop: Rogue City fails to launch (Arch Linux)

No window, no fullscreen environment, bombs out immediately upon reaching "playing" state. System, HGL, & game all updated to latest, I have the latest Wine dependencies for my system. I've tried various Proton/Wine (deleting the prefix folder in between each attempt): GE-Proton latest, 10-17, 9-27, 8-24 & Wine-GE latest, Proton8-26, Proton8-4, wine-10.16 (staging), all with "auto install/update dxvk" enabled & vcrun2022 installed via winetricks, wine versions with "auto install/update dxvk-nvapi" enabled & vkd3d installed via winetricks. I even tried setting the Windows version to win10. No dice. Should note that I've successfully run Witcher 3, Jedi Survivor, Batman Arkham seris & other AAA titles @ 1440p with very high settings, rarely have issues (thanks HGL 👍 ). ...

How to input these steam launch options in heroic launcher?

Hi, there's a problem with old unity games described here with a solution but it's written with steam in mind, how would I Input this in to heroic launcher?

dinput8.dll problem

When i added nfsmw 2005 in heroic, it working fine but i have some mods. In order to make it works, dinput8.dll must be loaded but heroic can't loaded it so game running with pure vanila (no mods) how can i fix it?

Fall guys Launch Error - Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed.

HI, I have Fall Guys installed on Windows 11 via the Heroic Launcher, but when I try to open it, I get a launch error (Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed). I can launch it perfectly fine on Linux, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I believe that Anti-Cheat should come bundled with the game installation.

Hm, usually EAC gets installed automatically, yes. You can try installing it manually by opening a command prompt and running this:
