Rockstar Launcher game installation

Hi, I have a game on Rockstar Launcher, but not on EGS. How does the installation work in this case ? From what I saw the tutorial only covers EGS Rockstar titles

horrible fps on dead island 2 (fedora) (epic games)

idk if my gpu isn't being used or what, I've tried everything, but the fps is still awful. I tried direcx 9 - 11 - 12 and I tried ge-proton and wine, but nothing worked and in mangohud the gpu shows 0%.

Solution:

omg im dump i was using securet boot on the windows mode and it was blocking the nvidia drivers to work

Heroic stuck on loading screen

I have recently upgraded from Ubuntu 24.10 to 25.04. Heroic has ceased to work properly. It's stuck on the loading screen. In this case, the clip I have appended is only 30 seconds long, but it never finishes loading up. The issue was not present before. I have tried to download a second AppImage, which did not fix the issue. Rtx 3070, ryzen 5 5600x, 16GB of RAM (3200mhz)....

My deus ex human revolution & star wars the force unleashed saves are gone.

Well i tried booting up a diffrent game today (heroes of might & magic 5), and after that i booted up my dues ex game and all of sudden my save file is gone and now all my games are asking me to try "wine experimental" again like after booting them up for the first time. As of right now it seems to only affect deus ex and force unleased, while knight of the old republic and hitman absolution seem to be unaffected. "I only have these 5 games installed". Im not the most tech savy person out there so any help would be appreciated....

Answering my own question: Seems like toggling the Disable umu on and off in Game Settings -> Advanced solved the issue somehow

Keyboard not functioning correctly in game?

I’ve installed Might and Magic VII via GOG/HeroicGamesLauncher on my Chromebook Linux Environment and it works… kinda. The game launches and I can “play” to some extent but only select key inputs seem to work. I can move with the Arrow Keys and the C key is acknowledged but nothing else is. I can’t jump with X, I doesn’t open inventory, Space doesn’t work as the input key etc. Does anyone know of anyway to fix this? Seems odd that it works, kinda, but not fully?...
