JoinRocket League gets stuck at main menu
The game launches as normal but when you press a button in the main menu it just makes a sound and doesn't proceed

Save data gone
I just launched the sonic racing crossworlds demo, and it popped up with some message about wine proton version not found, use latest? And when I launched it all my save data was gone

As far as I'm aware, it has something to do with logging in, either on Epic's end or ESO itself.
I am currently running on Linux Mint and Heroic isn't uploading the log files....
Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition -- Config file is corrupted
In my GOG library, I have this version of the game: "Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition". However, it seems that this specific version is no longer available on GOG and has been superseded by "Dying Light: Definitive Edition". There is no more store page for the old game. However, Heroic still shows this game in my library (which is correct as GOG still shows it too in my library), but clicking on it only gives me a loading screen. Right-clicking on the game in my library and clicking Install first gives the installation popup, but after continuing nothing happens. Looking in the Heroic log, there appears to be an issue with a corrupted config file. As the GOG log shows, the app name for this game is 1448452156, which indeed matches the errors in the Heroic log. The error says there is an issue parsing the JSON in the
[...]/GamesConfig/1448452156.json file; I am not including this file here because I checked it and it is empty. Other JSON files in that folder are not empty, so I presume the issue stems from the fact that the correct JSON information on this game was not retrieved.
I am using the Flatpak version of Heroic (2.18.1) on Linux (6.17.7). Other games in my library work fine. If you need any more information, I'll be happy to provide it....Solution:
So I decided to delete the

I've attached the log. I'm not sure I understand the error. I am able to launch this exact game using the same Proton version on my Nobara PC. Heroic there was installed with the .rpm, don't know if that makes a difference.
I tried rebooting and also reinstalling the flatpak. No dice....

How do I give permission to Heroic on CatchyOS (Solved Kinda)
I use to use linux mint and a wierd issue I had was that what ever I did I could not run Proton GE and Wine GE never worked, even stuff like Run Installer first. Later I found out I was suppose to give it permission using Flatseal and that solved my poblem in Linux Mint. Now I just shifted to CachyOS and I am worried I might have the same issue so I want to make sure It doesn't happen again. I just trying to try out stuff from Itch
Why does Heroic use the system Wine to run installers (option “Run installer first”)?
Hi, I’m just wondering why Heroic uses the system-wide Wine to run game installers. Is it possible to use Proton or the optimized Wine version included in Heroic instead?
Solution:
Hmm, I used the “Select Executable” option to try running the installer, and then I could see the logs inside Heroic Launcher. It was requiring python3. After installing it, the “Run installer first” option works now.

Installing Menyoo for GTA 5 on Heroic
I already installed GTA 5 on Heroic and already installed Rockstar Game Launcher on Crossover, I follow a yt tutorial on how to add Menyoo and other stuff into gta 5, when i did it all the game crashes after selecting "Story Mode" why is that? can someone help me
