Adding mods to games

Is there some simple way to add mods to games? I realize not all mods are created equal, but trying to install mods to a windos game being played with heroic on a linux system is a nightmare. Unless there is something I'm missing. I don't really mind manual mod installs but considering the funky file system with linux it can be challenging for me sometimes. Nearly all mods I would be interested in will be on nexus for the games I have.

cant log in

earlier today i tried to open a game through a steam shortcut and it had logged me out of my epic games account for some reason, and i cant log back in. i can log in with the browser, but whether or not im already logged in on my browser, the link it gives me when i click "epic alternative login method" does the same thing that the regular method does. it just takes me to this page(i assume the stuff i blacked out isnt sensitive but i dont know so i did just in case) instead of the login page or...

Can't play Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade via Heroic

When I launch FF7RI via Heroic I now get the in-game message to launch the game via Epic Games store and the game exits. This is the same message you would get from running the game's .exe directly. I used to have no issues launching via heroic, but after a recent update the game is borked for me. Anyone else having this issue or found a workaround?

Epic games login
