Missed frames in OBS

hey, i'm new to OBS and have noticed in my stats that I get a few missed frames in a 1-2hr youtube stream. so I let OBS run over night and hit 400+. Is this normal or is there something I can do to fix it? I've followed EposVox for years and used settings from his videos. using a 4090 with AV1 btw.

Frame Drop when streaming TEB with a RTX 4060

More trying to pick a few brains with this one but have a Canvas built at 1440p with no downscaling. Within it I have my Camera feed which is sent via Teleport with a NVIDIA Background Removal Plugin ontop of my Capture Card using a Source Clone, with a Composite Blur filter, to fill the Background. Everything is set to 1440p60 limited color range with 701 space, no issues when idle but will start stream and suddenly drop to sub 50fps on output. I only have TEB enabled for 3 sessions and no othe...

Black Background removal ( Nvidia Background removal) OBS encoder overload while using Source record

Hello, I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. I'm currently using the background removal from Nvidia for my camera. The problem is that I can't get rid of the black background that remains once you import the footage into any video editing software. I mostly use Sony Vegas 17. Secondly, I'm using source record by Elxedro in order to record both my webcam and gameplay separately, but OBS always tells me that my encoder is overloaded which in turn makes everything to buffer. I should mention that I want to do this while streaming at the same time for full transparency. Any help would be appreciated and educational. Lastly, I will post down below my PC specifications; maybe my PC can't handle all of that. Once again, thank you Processor AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core Processor 3.50 GHz Installed RAM 32.0 GB System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor...

Is 32gb of Ram worth it?

Hello! I am trying to upgrade my gaming PC with adding another 2 sticks of ram, I want to keep my tabs open while in-game, but I keep reading subreddits and it depends on my CPU and motherboard. And I got confused. I plan on buying another set of Corsair DDR4 CL16 3200mhz (the same set as I have [with same timings 16-18-18-36]). Current PC specs: Ryzen 7 5800 (non-x) 16gb 3200mhz [16-18-18-36] (2 8gig sticks)...

YouTube Audio Quality Issues

I'm doing some private test livestreams to YouTube, my audio coming into OBS is 5.1 24-bit 48 KHz, and OBS is encoding the 5.1 audio in AAC at a bitrate of 960 Kbps which should be more than plenty for 5.1 at that bit depth and sample rate. It's an RTMPS stream in Low Latency mode (not ultra). For whatever reason, when I'm checking out the stream on my browser at full quality the audio sounds like a badly encoded MP3 at around 64 Kbps. Is this because YouTube is re-encoding it to deliver to my b...

Multistream Setup

I just want a second pair of eyes for multistreaming to see if I have the PC horsepower to actually maintain all of these encodes for stream. If not then I'll probably figure out what to drop in discussion here as well. (It'll likely just be that if I do have to drop something it'll be the local recording, it's mainly to have the highest quality master file for editing) I attached a screenshot of my initial thoughts....

Using 2 separate GPUs to Multistream in dedicated Stream PC

I'm trying to stream to YouTube whilst also streaming to Twitch from my stream PC, but I run 2 GPU's: 1650 Super + A380 (for AV1). I'm currently having issues ONLY on YouTube streams (Using A380 with AV1) where I will drop 30% frames (3 second freeze) in consistent intervals. This doesn't happen every livestream though! The Twitch livestream is unaffected and 0 dropped frames....

LATENCY ISSUES

OBS 31.0 always requesting to open in safemode.

I'm a bit stumped here. The obvious answer is there's a plugin that's not supported by 31.0 (when this started happening), but I'll be darned if I can figure out which one it is. I've installed Streamup Plugin installer and updated everything it said was out of date, and removed anything that wasn't compatible and I probably wasn't using anyways. I'm left with 3 that I don't see plugins for in the folders, and the 2 Stream Elements plugins that are up to date. I just am not conversant enough in the logs to figure out what it isn't liking. Can someone suggest what I can do next or help me decipher the logs? ...

C:\ cloning to new NVME did not go as expected.

So yeah I got my new ram and nvme today. The ram part went quite well with no issues. Too bad I can't say the same about the NVME. So, my intention was to clone my small 120GB C and make the 1TB nvme a "new C" and booting drive. Now, I used the software called "Macrium Reflect". I followed all the steps based on a YT tutorial, the cloning did happen HOWEVER, instead of having one new drive instead, I ended up having two cloned partitions. Meanwhile the so called H, was suppose to be the NVME. As...

OBS Camera Bug

Weird OBS or possibly driver bug?

Hey all, I've been trying to figure out this issue with my stream since I updated to OBS 31. I stream on Windows. Basically I get visual corruption sometimes randomly about 30 - 80 minutes into a stream. This has been happening since the OBS 31 update. But I don't get dropped frames or skipping/missed frames. CPU/GPU isn't at 100%, the issue also occurs in safe mode as well. The only other thing that has changed is my drivers, which I updated. Rolling back the driver didn't seem to fix the issue....
