Limited or Full Color Range
So for context I'm recording a Snow White VHS. Its hooked up to the Retrotink 5x and then captured by Cam Link Pro into OBS. I know for most game consoles on OBS, limited makes the most sense, but does that change on vhs captures?
First picture (Snow White Sleeping) is Full colorspace across the board (Tink, Cam, OBS)
Second picture (Dwarf Yawning) is Limited colorspace across the board (Tink, Cam, OBS)...

capture card
OBS audio gets delayed only when monitoring the audio the actual audio in recording and streams r perfectly fine im open to any input
EVGA XR1 Pro Messed Up Capture
I just bought a new EVGA XR1 Pro and the video I see from it on my monitor is normal but this is what the capture looks like in both discord and OBS. I've tried fiddling with the resolution but it doesn't seem to do anything. I'm feeding 480p video into it from a retrotink 2x pro.
Solution:
Turning on the line doubling feature on the retrotink fixed it! I'm not sure why it needed to be on but it works now!

Best HVENC settings for twitch?
Im currently running a Dual PC setup and have been wondering what are the best possible settings to get the best stream quality on Twitch using a 3070 Hvenc? bitrate - Preset - Tuning - Multipass - Lookahead ETC.. Also many people have to me to switch to 936p Bicubic for compression due to me sim racing and having fast moving objects.. I figured this was the best place to ask. Thank you!
CPU Encoding Overload With GPU Encoding
Currently using testing changing my setup to use Twitch Enhanced Streaming and Aitum Multi. And noticed I was still receiving . "Encoder Overload" errors and dropped frames during scene transitions.
((Update))
While OBS is running I see a pretty sizable CPU Utilization that will spike to 100% during certain transitions.

Looking to play PS2 on CRT and record at same time.
Modding my PAL PS2 to accept NTSC games this week. Don't have video cables yet but likely to buy RGB Scart cables.
The cheap 14inch Phillips crt I bought last week does not have component in, just composite and RGB Scart, buying from retrogamingcables.
This setup would be completely fine, but want to now record my first playthrough of ff7. ...
Revelator io24
I bought the Presonus IO24 a couple of months ago for its ability to change your voice, however, I can't for the life of me figure that out. I have looked online for a tutorial to help out with that, but I can't find anything. Is there anyone here who knows how to do so using the Universal control app?
I keep getting blue screen of Death on Davinci Resolve Render
The error listed is: dxgmms2.sys
I've tried everything from reinstalling graphics drivers, getting older drivers, trying the studio drivers, running windows memory diagnostic, running the directx diagnostic, disabling hardware acceleration, reinstalling windows 24H2, and even reinstalling my graphics card just to be sure.
Nothing works. I get to the same spot in the render and without fail it always blue screens....
Streaming TWO MAIN CANVASES to different sites (Twitch/YT)
Hello, is it possible to stream two difference horizontal canvases? One going to twitch and one going to youtube. I already have the aitum plugin and using the vertical canvas to stream to YouTube Shorts. The reason I want to add another horizontal canvas is because I have Twitch specific overlays that I want to keep on my stream but not show those on my YouTube stream.
Thanks....
AMD 7900 GRE Dual Encoding Issues...
Hey gang, I recently got an AMD 7900 GRE to replace my dual GPU RX6750x and Arc 380 set up... I had the Arc added to perform AV1 encoding only, and it worked great (aside from having to replug the video cable each time i used it). But now with the 7900 GRE, I am having "skipped frames due to encoding lag" in OBS, whenever I try to stream using two of the encoders (AV1 and H264 usually)... I have bandwidth to multistream, and my computer can handle it, but the GPU does not seem to like both enco...
No Longer Able to Send 8000kbps bitrate to Twitch
Hey everyone,
For the past year and a half, I've been sending ~7500-8000 bitrate to Twitch but just in the past month or so, it has started to cause major issues and I can't go above 6000.
In the past, sending above 6000 would show as unstable bitrate in the Twitch Dashboard but that was the extent of the issues.

Steam Recording colors very contrasty in video editor
Not sure if "translation" is the right word, but basically this is an intermittent issue depending on how my setup is at the current time and when it's not involving OBS it's kinda hard to wrap my head around.
Basically, I was playing Darkest Dungeon II with Steam Recording enabled. To my eyes ingame the contrast between light and dark seems natural, but taking an exported Steam clip into Premiere made it took VERY dark and contrasty. I'm wondering if that's something to do with Steam Recording being in beta, because considering it being a PC game and the fact that a capture card is not in use I'm confused why there's such a discrepancy

Streaming Quality Issues + Noise Gate Help
Hi! So i was trying to stream minecraft earlier and im having a weird quality issue, and i have it in other games too. Where it just looks really blurry/pixelated. Ive tried messing with bitrates and stuff but it doesnt seem to fix anything. Before i have had my bitrate at 8000, i also have a i9-12900k so i have the encoding stuff pretty high even though idkwhat alot of it means. I also have it outputting at 1080p, but in the past with recording ive had it scaled to higher resolutions to make it look better for recordings.
Also the noise gate thing, alot of times the mic will pick up just like mouth noises and it sounds gross and i dont want it to go through but no matter how much i mess with the noise gate, it seems to barely help. Granted, i really have trouble understranding noise gates. For example i think i have the settings right like i dont want anything under say -35db to be picked up, but sometimes it does, and other times if i say something above that, then theres a noise a second later at a lower volume, it will pick it up. It confuses me alot, any help would be apreciated!...

Brief Muddy Audio Issue
I previously recorded no commentary gameplay via desktop audio. It worked but was quiet. This past week I asked for help in the OBS discord and was told to use "Capture Audio (BETA)" on the game audio. This definitely seems to have solved the volume issue but I'm encountering a different problem now:
I keep getting about 50 seconds of messed up audio occurring around 13-16 minutes into a recording. Audio is fine before, then there is the issue, then it goes back to being fine...
I thought maybe it was clipping so I ran 5 tests, one with no adjustments, 2 with a limiter on the game audio of -2, and -5db, and a couple of no limiter but gain adjustments of -2, and -5db in the mixer. I got the issue in all 5 test recordings....

GoXlr and GoXlr mini connected to 1 pc
So my problem if you would call it that is a bit of niche one. I've got a single pc setup between my desk and my sim rig, both are on opposite sides of the room, I've got everything sorted but I still find audio a bit of a sore spot for me, especially while driving and streaming, I use the GoXlr XL on my desk and a Wavelink XLR on the sim rig (Wavelink app has been a PITA for me at times), is it possible to have 2 GoXlrs connected to 1 pc without causing any issues, having physical sliders while...
