DH 2.2 + Oculus
Like lots of people, I've come here from a recent stack of videos on the DH mod and my gf and me started to try and make our own MC profile incl DH.
Now, what I've tried:

(Solved) Shader Compatibility
After finally setting up DH to work with Iris Shaders, I decided to try a shader out to see if it works, but it doesn't seem to load in the same amount of chunks as if I had no shaders on.
I'll attach some images, can someone clarify whether this is just something unavoidable or if I can fix it?...

Clouds Above Clouds
When I have shaders turned on the minecraft clouds are above the shaders one even if they are turned off in the settings

I cant start up mc
i keep on getting a exit code -1 saying:
org.spongepowered.asm.mixin.transformer.throwables.MixinTransformerError: An unexpected critical error was encountered
i downloaded the latest version of DH in this server and oculus on modrinth, what am i missing here?...
Game crashes whilst initialiazing game. ( with mods )
So i created a Modpack for myself with some mods i wanted to try. Modpack runs fine except when i add DH. The game crashes when initializing. I dont really know how to read logs, but i guess its because of Embeddium or Oculus. Thanks for any help 🙂

Solution:
Oculus is incompatible with DH 2.2.
Instead of Embeddium and Oculus, use the Sodium and Iris alphas...
DH 2.2 Crashes Forge 1.20.1, 47.2.21
So as the title says DH 2.2 crashes my game (Minecraft version 1.20.1, Forge version 47.2.21) 2.1.2(the version before 2.2) works but when I activate bliss shader it doesnt work.
how do i fix this? this error only appears on a specific world
it only pops up on one world of mine and the area of the coords is just empty yet this error pops up

Specific case performance degradation on a server over time
I think while playing on a server, Distant Horizons is having trouble regenerating LOD meshes. The game eventually starts to chew through memory and garbage collect way more often, although the memory freed never goes higher than the baseline of 6GB on an 8GB instance.
Just something odd that seemed to have popped up. When trying to leave the server and rejoin it, the java VM crashed very soon afterward as the log indicates.

Render player entity inside LODs
Hi there, will be hosting a server including guns, snipers, etc and was wondering if there was any setting which allowed to render the player entity outside of the normal render distance (so the player entity is rendered alongside the LODs)

Lag Spikes every 3-4 seconds (CPU usage is fine)
I am able to prevent the lag spikes ONLY when i set a limit of 200 milliseconds to garbage collection pauses, but i dont want to accumilate garbage. I have allocated 10GB of ram and the lag spikes happen even with minimal CPU usage (<20%)
Is there any fix to this?...
Distant Horizons x Iris issue

Question with distant horizons
Okay so I have forge, and my game viersion is 1.20.1, is it not possible to use shaders on this version with distant horizon? I used oculus but I can already see that it doesn't work...

Iris 1.7.5 or 1.8 is not available for 1.20.4 or 1.20.6 on modrinth.

Chunks just completely transparent
Basically, the chunks don't seem to be rendering anything in them. The black chunks in the back I believe are related to Starlight, so I'll have to remove that mod (hopefully no mod requires that as a required dependency ._.), but I don't know what the cause of the clear chunks could be?

lods generate inside loaded chunks that can be seen in transparent blocks
this is much more visible with ender rods or stuff like stairs fence etc

DH not generating LoDs, extreme lag when enabled in Single Player.
DH doesnt seem to be working at all, no LODs generating whatsoever, i've deleted the config as suggested which does not resolve the issue.
I initially had DH installed and working properly but now it seems to be broken....
