how to fix stutter

Ive tried allocating loads of ram or very little and many performance mods but nothing fixes the stutter, it got worse when i updated to the "better" version of dh. How can i get the older version back because the new version is horrible
Solution:
Everything apart from the -Xmx2G which you replace with -Xmx{RAM allocation amount}G

Distant server chunks not loading

I compiled the latest from the main branch and for some reason it doesnt seem to be working on server. A few weeks ago I had the server up and running with some friends and distant horizons was working great! In the screenshot it says CLIENT_ONLY world, is this an issue? Are there any other mods that may interfere with distant horizons I should remove? Thanks!

Earth curve ratio doesn't work

When I set a curve ratio in the settings of dh in a server (which doesnt have dh) it just doesn't work. It used to be able to curve on 2.2.1-a but now on the nightly build it juts stopped working. I dont know whats the cause and any help would be appreciated :cou: (MC is 1.21.1, dh is 2.3.0-b-dev)

Will updating my Distant Horizons to the new "Beta 2.3.0 Release Candidate 2" remove all my LODs?

I play in this one multiplayer server with my friends and I have so much of the map "unlocked", as I like to call it, and it looks so nice and all having all the LODs loaded. Will updating to the newer version remove all the LODs and basically reset everything? I dont wanna have all my LODs lost because I updated to the new version

any way to disable it giving these dimensions these prefixes? (on dev build) - i remember there used to be an option for multiverse similarity or something but that isnt here anymore need to disable that because servers dont work with flashback at all due to this...

Black LOD Chunks and enable fog button not working, possibly related... Very Spooky...

I've been encountering some black chunks while playing both singleplayer and multiplayer and I have no idea what could be causing them, ontop of that the button to enable fog in my DH settings doesn't work, so I have no way of hiding these aforementioned black chunks. (It'll take me a minute to post the modlist n stuff)

Distant Horizons chunks inside render distance

not sure how to explain this but the pictures were taken at the same spot one with and one without the mod i only want the distant horizons chunks to be outside my render distance is there a setting for this ?

Spotty faraway LoDs

I'm running a server on Fabric 1.21.4, I pregenerated chunks using Chunky because if the vanilla chunks were generated in real time the server would lag with just 3 people going around. I then installed the latest nightly DH build both on the server and on my client, enabled Distant Generation on both and let it build LoDs for a while. The problem is now I the faraway LoDs are spotty as in the image. Does it just need more time to render or what?

Reload LODs on pregenerated world after removing SQLite file

I have pregenerated 2000*2000 world, when i've got swiss cheese problem with Chunky, i've deleted sqlite data of DH. Now i must visit places for saving them in lods, DH not trying to load distant lods themself in already pregenerated world.
Solution:
So, solution is - Enable Distant Generation on prerendered map.

Macos, world doesn't start with Distant Horizon

Hello, when i want to start my world with only distant horizon, the loading screen go to 100% but after, there is nothing i could do and nothing appared. This is my log screen

Log bloat with DH2.2.1-a

No crash, but latest.log is about 3gb large after 15 minutes of playing, clogged up with this line mostly:

using singleplayer LODs for a server with the same seed possible?

is it possible to use singleplayer LODs for a server? i've pregenerated about 4000 chunks using chunky (without DH) and would like to transform them there mfs to LODs for my server that has the same world seed (cause bobby expensive asf)

Problems with DH 2.3 Server side

Hey i just recently wanted to help with the testing of the nightly version of DH 2.3 Server side, i found series of problems with it. First of all, as #help-me server-side thread i tried to access config via /dh config but the command is not registered on any way on the server (see first pics, even on the server console itself doesnt exist) . Second a more relevant is that LOD generation won't start on any of the configs for server side, the f3 screen just debugs as task maybe are getting crea...

lod building very slow

i changed the config in BCLib and it did nothing what can cuase the fog???...

Does the mod support resource packs?

for example if my grass texture is snowy (white) and not default (green) will LODs be rendered as green or white?
