Create Dreams & Desires, do we know why it doesn't work?

So I've seen on the compatibility FAQ that Create: Dreams & Desires doesn't work. I can't find any issues on the DH Gitlab, or on "Create: Dreams & Desires' " Github mentioning the incompatibility. Is there somewhere this is documented where I can't find it? I've found a post on this, but not the answers I seek....

How to stop DH from updating chunks?

So I exported Distant horizons data from a multiplayer world to see how it looks in singleplayer, however now all chunks I fly over generate the actual world chunk data and deletes the old one. So my question is: How to disable Update propagator threads?

Oculus may work, but can produce unexpected results, it is preffered to use Iris on Fabric or Neoforge instead. To use oculus with DH, it is only possible to use minecraft 1.20.1 with forge. Oculus 1.7 is the only officially released version of Oculus that works with DH, and only works with DH 2.1.x. If you are using DH 2.2.x with Oculus 1.7, that is the reason for your crash. For DH 2.2.x, the only option is to use an unreleased version of Oculus found at https://github.com/Asek3/Oculus/actions/runs/11198312573/artifacts/2020008921 (you need to be logged in or it will 404). Unzip the given file, take oculus-mc1.20.1-1.7.0.jar. and put it in your mods folder. ...

I am running a Forge 1.20.1 server, ideally I would like to stay on Forge for some specific mods. This means i am using Oculus and not Iris, which the nightly builds are incompatible with. Is there any way, to get these two to work together?...

Moving server data to DH

Hi, i know that getting Lod's from a server to your client requires moving yourself through the server and it saving as you go along, as said in FAQ, but i own the server i plan on playing on and have already used chunky to pre-generate it there, may i get some advice on how i could take that data and move it to my end? tldr, pre-genned my own server want that data on my own client DH...

Game crashes before it even starts, BCG+ modpack.

I got DH to work on another modpack just yesterday, but when I add it to BCG+, the game crashes before I can even start it up. I don't even get an error message saying why it crashed, just exit code 1. I have already updated iris to 1.7.5.
Solution:
Ok so the server i share with friends requires patchouli so i reenabled it and kept the shader toggle mod disabled

showing bits and pieces of deleted island

this is the aftermath of successfully deleting the terralith floating islands using world edit. unfortunately bits and pieces of the island remains. The ocean is also wilding.. i have tried: rebooting computer rebooting minecraft (did this after each idea) loading and reloading chunks by manually flying over them with high and low render distance (it is especially stubborn this time. won't go away)...

Starlight for DH2.2

does anyone have experience with starlight mod and DH? Is this compatible with shaders? And if so is it stable?

Micro stutters

I'm using minecraft version 1.21.1 with and I keep having these really annoying micro stutters and crashes. LOD render distance prematurely capped

I’ve got my LOD distance set to 2048, but, on only specific worlds, it seems to cap out randomly at a much smaller value. I haven’t found a way to fix it when this happens other then (sometimes) creating a new world. Before it was just a nuisance, but it’s happening every time I try to generate chunks for a world painter world now which is very frustrating. By using debug wireframe for chunk generation I can see that distant chunks are being generated very far away from what’s currently rendered. So I know the chunks have been generated....

first time using mod and im having trouble getting it to work

i just got the fabric 1.21.3 version and minecraft takes my render distance from my settings which cant go above 97 how do i make the mod work (i might just be slow and not understanding how to set up the mod lol)

DH doesn't load LODs in a multiplayer game

recently i updated my modpack and i tested Dh in singleplayer and everything worked fine, but when i went to my friend's server i discovered that the mood wasn't loading LODs, when i walk, the chunks that go off the loaded chunks just disapear instead of turning in to the DH LODs

Oculus Issue 1.20.1 Forge

I made a ModPack for Forge 1.20.1, that uses Distant Horizons and it functions fine without oculus but when installed, it crashes

Only water and glass in LODs

Hi! I think im doing something wrong? Only colored glass and water show up in my LODs past a very short distance. I haven't measured the distance but its very short, maybe even just fading into the edges of my actual render distance. i otherwise can't tell they're there in the first place without the AO from a shader. the effect is neat, but i wanna see my world
