Crashes on start up
I am using the better adventures + modpack and every time i open minecraft with distant horizons installed it crashes on start up with the error

DH renders the horizon as black with Bliss Shaders
Hello, every time I use Bliss shaders, the horizon overlaps my screen and shows as black. This problem doesn't happen with other shaders, only Bliss. I have ambient mods as well as Exposure, Terralith, Alex's Mobs, Nature's Compass, JEI, and Journey Map. I don't think it's these mods that are causing the issue though. I am playing singleplayer.

Weird X-Ray like effect when mod is active
I'm on a singleplayer world and I've got this weird effect where I can see other caves and such from above ground, could I get a little help?

Weird LOD texture in far away chunks
*I read through the whole texture related posts in #help-me and all faqs in #faq-problems-and-fixes *
Texturing is weird, as it likes in the picture. It is like the LOD is not using the texture pack I am currently using. Tried the solution "restart the game" in #faq-problems-and-fixes but didn't work.

Iris version: 1.6.17 1.20.4(I found the whole iris project discord and github and modrinth etc but i didn't find 1.7.0)

Solution:
when not using the dh nightly + iris 1.7 beta, you're stuck with the old janky shader "support"

My game crash on startup
I'am playing on my custom modpack and the modpack works fine,but when I try to install DH it's crashing on startup
Chunks not loading at all, or at very random places
Hey, the LOD's are taking forever to load (like one chunk ever 3 secconds) and sometimes they dont load at all
i read through the faq and tried it all, but i just dont know what im doing wrong
(1.20.1)...

I Can't find any combination of mods that let me run DH in 1.20.2 with sodium/indium
I've tried with DH Version 2.0.1-a and 2.0.2-a
with sodium Version 0.5.5 and 0.5.8
and indium Version 1.0.30
and the Fabric API version 0.91.6
and every combination of all of those, and i for the life of me can't get any combination to work with sodium in any way...
Solution:
try indium 1.0.28
How can i fix this?
idk what's wrong with my DH, plz help

how do i install a new garbage collector?
pretty simple, im trying to reduce stuttering, and someone recommended getting shenandoah for that, but im not sure how id go about that
not a DH issue but anyone know about this?
um this is not a DH mod problem but anyone know about destination null error?

kicking log says Internal expection connection reset
same modpack with new world works fine...

Lost LOD's
Hello - I have been using Distant horizons on a server that I own for a while now and have generated about 5k x 5k blocks. I messed with the multiverse required simularity setting, and now my DH chunks are gone. I am not sure how the file formatting works exactly.
Just curious how I can save these LODS, as I have all of the files in the folder in the image attatched.

Hi, hope you have a great day, I was installing the mod using a video but I have the impression that the mod does not display the same distance of chunks compared to mine. the rendering of my screenshot is after 30 minutes of waiting
Solution:
you know the classic "build it off screen" here is "waited an hour with decent CPU"

GPU Benchmarks/recommendations?
Looking to get a better gpu rn, currently have a 13600k and a 3070. This mod is legitimately one of the tasks that has convinced me to upgrade my gpu. Just wondering if anyone has benchmarks for this mod on 7900xt, 7900xtx, and/or 4080 super cards. Also looking for recommendations if anyone has any based on the cards performance with the mod. I do intend on using it on servers, mainly Wynncraft, if that affects performance significantly.
Crash on load
Included latest log and crash report, throws error code 1 with no other information, i assume its a compatability issue with some other mod but ive removed what is obvious to me and so im lost as to what is causing the crash,
dh works on its own, and the modpack works without dh but dosent load when together...
Solution:
forgot that 2.0.1 does not have the shader support and that's probably the thing
Shader water cut
A post was made about this a year ago (https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1080173271477133362) and I wanted an update on it cuz maybe some things have changed.
I'm using complementary reimagined and I was wondering if there's a way to turn the DH water into a shader-like water or make the transition between the two look better....

error messages about loading or making chunks
i didn't have this problem at first, but after i increased my memory usage in modrinth it started spewing uit error messages.
i did read in the FAQ that i can disable the error messages, but i thought that something was going wrong
and at the same time (i dont know if this is because of the errors) my oceans in the distance are strangly build...

LOD's different for Multiplayer vs Single player, LOD showing up sooner
So im playing on a server, and the mountain shown here's LOD is very prevalent when your up close to it, not that far. Shows as all green, but when you get close, the textures properly come in. but go away again when you walk awy.
But I switch to a single player world, without changing settings, and I can go super far out, and still see the brown block's with their green tops. Is this possibly just due to the server's distance settings set low? Or is there a setting I can adjust.
1.20.1 for both. Shaders disabled. LOD Render distance set to 256 quality set to high, cpu balanced...
Solution:
It is due to the server render distance, looks like the server may be capping it at 8 chunks.
