"dh chunks" dont have any levels of details on them if I dont load chunks beforehand.

They also sometimes miss the details on chunks that I have loaded.

This Pack Doesn't Have DH support

Apologies if this has been answered, but I can't seem to find it after searching for 20 minutes. I downloaded the fork of Complementary Shaders by EminGT (the one that says it has DH compatibility config), but every time I try to apply it in game I get a large red text box that says it won't work with DH. Is there an option somewhere that I can't find where I can turn that on? Any tips would be appreciated, thanks!...

how to fix if the mod doesnt do anything? No LODS loading.

Im using 1.20.1 v2.0.2-a-dev LODS are showing up at all. its just the normal render distance.. like i start a new world, set normal render distance to 16, set DH lod render distance to 256, nothing happens. its still normal 16 chunk render distance. Im using other mods, if that helps....

LOD aren't loading at all with shaders

To start this, I'm on 1.20.1 using bliss shaders wotj DH version 2.0.1-a, without shaders. it tends to work, but when I try to use shaders it's just using my default 32 render distance and nothing is working. I've waiting for an hour to see it anything will generate and it's simply not working.

LOD's have weird white/black blocks in them.

My guess is the modded blocks don't get converted into LOD's properly, the wheat-like grass is from Biomes-o-plenty.

Crashing on attempting to launch

Hello, I'm looking to play BetterAdventures+ in single player and I've added Distant Horizons except it has been crashing on launch. Modpack works without Distant Horizons and I'm trying to figure out why it's crashing as I'd really like to play this modpack with DH. I've disabled the Replay Mod as I saw it's the only mod that is known to be incompatible from the list under FAQ....

Low fps issue 7900xtx

When using distant horizons on 7900xtx fps without shaders drops to 120 and with in the 50's, when in normal sodium +iris 900 without 200 with gpu only at 35% with some minor spikes

DH not loading chunks beyond standard MC render distance

I've followed the past FAQ for what to do if it doesn't work and so far have had no success. Brand new DH reinstall, brand new forge reinstall, brand new mc installation, nothing. I've flown through the world and around to load more chunks to see if it keeps those chunks loaded, but to no avail. I've given it time to render, given it a fair bit of my CPU/GPU to work with, but still not loading anything. Only error message: OpenGL Error 1282 (invalid operation) [Dont expect this to be the issue] Mod list...

Error while starting BetterMC

Hello, I have been playing the BetterMC modpack for some time now, and I want to add Distant Horizons to it as well. When I do, I get this error message, and I don't know how to fix it. I tried the forge, the fabric and the merged versions, none work, I disabled "use no error context", I just can't get it to work. Can someone help me?...

ERROR DH render encountered an error

I flew into my spawnchunks with quite the speed an then the message: "ERROR: Distant Horizons render has encountered an exception! Renderer is now disabled to prevent further issues. Exception detail: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: QuadTree GetOrSet failed. Position out of bounds, min pos: (-1600,-1792), max pos: (2240, 2040), min detail level: 6, max detail level: 11. Given position: {11x0,1}= block pos: {0x0,2048} I tried to reduce the render distance and reable it somehow, but that does not work. When I restart the game it also does not work. Is there a button somewhere to reenable the renderer?...

i have spent the last few hours learning about the mystery that is reterraforged, the large gatekeeping community surrounding this mod (which i find to be very complexing) has made it extremally difficult to uncover information. regardless, i have tried to compile it myself starting from absolutely zero coding knowledge, i can not seem to get it to work. Does anyone have a simple jar file for 1.20.1 they could send my way, i would be very grateful.

Shaders that work with 1.20.1?

Does anyone know of any shaders that work with 1.20.1? I've tried a few shaders like BSL, Complementry, and Bliss and none of them have worked.

Dh doesnt render Ocean floor?

Floor kinda weird lookin, can this be fixed? normal Bliss + suggested iris + suggested DH + other qol mods...

DH 1.20.1 Doesn't render past minecraft's standard render distance

I have made sure DH is enabled in game. However it only renders up to the set minecraft render distant - i.e. I can only push it to 68 chunks and LOD isnt doing its job Mods: C2ME (with fix in .toml config) - latest DH 2.02-a-dev Fabric API - latest...

1% lows aren't that great and overall the game doesn't feel smooth half the time.

My GPU is 7900xt CPU is 7800x3d with dual channel 32GB of ram 6000MHZ 30CL and i have minecraft installed on an ssd. Anyone able to help me figure out what I can do for a better experience with this mod. Also I am using the bliss shader that DH is compatible with.

FPS Issues when using shaders

I pre-generated a large distance around me so it shouldn't be anything related to chunk generation in theory. I get decent FPS when not using shaders but it plumets when using shaders. I thought at first that my GPU was just getting fully used since I was using shaders, but then I realized that it was sitting at roughly 25% usage while the CPU was completely pinned at 100% even with pregened chunks which I thought was odd. It could be normal behavior and my CPU could just be too weak, please let me know if that's the case. In case the photos are blurry, the shaders give me around 25 fps and without them I get about 140 fps. I included my current mods list but this also happens with just Iris, Sodium, and DH 2 installed. Specs: i9 9900KF @ 4.9 GHZ 32GB DDR4 3600 MHZ...

Looking for shaders compatible with the new updates besides bliss. Preferably something that doesn't just do blending, but instead has actual support for the LODs :D
