[DHS] Mismatched server and client versions
Client and server's MC versions must match (within ranges allowed by the same mod file).I was curious what the technical reason was for having matching server and client versions of MC. Do the LODs have version-specific data in them dependent on the MC version? I figured it would be governed by the DH version instead....

When rendering a Replay in 1080 everything is fine, but if I want to render in 4k they become much faster

Shadows and Caves Glitch
I installed Distant Horizons, but I'm having this very weird issue where shadows and caves are see thru on the screen.
It works fine if I turn off my shaders (I'm using BSL), but with them on I keep getting these see thru caves. I tried to change the overdraw prevention, but that didn't get rid of them.
My Minecraft version is 1.20.1...

Not saving new chunks
I'm not really sure what info is needed to help resolve the problem but I'm playing on a Realm in 1.21.4 which I already have a lot of saved chunks on, but DH won't save new chunks that I load. I'll provide a list of the mods I'm running, if there's anything else you need just lmk and I'll gladly get it

Is it normal that DH pregen is taking that long ?
Hey, i'm currently trying to pregen a part of my world with the DH pregen tool but it takes so long that i don't know if i can do anything to make it faster ?
i have an intel i7-13700KF (16 cores,24 threads)
it is running on a local server in order to not let my client turn and takes (and also it uses my E cores and not the P cores)...

DH 2.3 sets enable rendering to False every time
I dont know if this is normal behavior but DH 2.3 sets Enable Rendering to false every time the game is restarted so every time after joining the server (also has DH 2.3) you have to go enable rendering
Also when using shaders the quality preset is changed to custom though changing it to one of the normal presets it does change the lod quality while still saying custom

Very obvious border between real Chunks and LOD Chunks
Not sure how to fix it. Changing the fog settings did not work.

[DHS] Is border radius config round or square?
Is the
border_radius
config in DHS a square limit or round? World limits are square so I want to make sure I'm setting the correct value.
And is this value in blocks or chunks?

Server performance
Will you recommend using Distant Horizons 2.3.0b RC3 on a 10-player server? If so how powerful should the cpu be? Currently with Distant Horizons installed my server is lagging quite a bit but I'm considering upgrading its specs.
Socket Timeout on Server join
Anyone familiar with a Client SocketTimeout bug for a Server running 2.3.0-b-RC2-1.21.4? I played on it for dozens of hours but now when i want to join, i get disconnected a few seconds later with a timeout. If i join without DH installed everything works fine.

DHS Compilation fails with `Eclipse Adoptium\jdk-23.0.1.11-hotspot`
After investigation, downgrading from
Eclipse Adoptium\jdk-23.0.1.11-hotspot
to Eclipse Adoptium\jdk-21.0.5.11-hotspot
has fixed compilation issues

Having issues compiling Distant Horizons server plugin via mvn
...chunks fade in makes a rainbow chunk loading
when enabaling the chunks fade in feuture with the DH it makes weird rainbow chunk loading (see video)
what could be causing the issue and is there a fix? thx

Hey! I noticed the latest version of DH is updated for Neoforge but not Curseforge, has it simply not been updated, or proceeding forward will the development for Curseforge stop? Thanks!

Pre loaded world loading very slowly
Iām using distant horizons on a world preloaded with chunky. The DH chunks are taking a very long time to load,
