Does Anyone Else Need To Frequently Restart The Game For Performance?
When the game launches and finishes rendering the LODs my FPS is pretty descent, usually around 90. But after 30 minutes to an hour it gradually declines, usually settling at around 30-45 fps. Only way I have been able to solve this is a full game restart.
For reference I am playing on ATM 10 modpack on my own hosted server, but I am sure it is DH causing the decline in frames as I have a copy of my install without DH, played on that for an hour and my frames never dipped below 140.
Hardware wise I have 4070 super 32gb of RAM (16 allocated) and and i7 8700K...

Can't get Prominence II modpack to work with DH
I'm using Prominence II Classic v.2.2.0 https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/prominence-2-classic and I'm trying to get it to work with DH. I've tried every version of DH available for 1.20.1 and none of them work. I've tried removing or updating/downgrading some mods here and there but I really don't want to go through 300+ mods. Has anyone else managed to get it working? If so, please share :joewait:
Water reflection seam
Is there any way to fix this lack of water reflections beyond the regular chunk render distance? If you look you can see the seam where sunlight reflections cut off, and where the landmass reflections cut between the shaded chunks and DH
I am running different performance mods--are there any known conflicts that could cause this? As far as I know none of them would cause rendering issues like this. (Complementary Shaders Reimagined)
...it drives me nuts as at any sort of height you can visibly see where reflections stop or even in vanilla how the coloring changes not-so-subtly. 😦...

how do i fix this
when i move far away from the statue the LOD looks weird under the wings, changing the vertical resolution to max setting of pixel art doesnt fix it, i really dont want to have to delete and reload my LODS if possible because im planning on building a bunch of massive builds and i dont want to have to delete and reload the LODs everytime i finish with a build. the statue is supposed to look like the second screenshot

I currently have 32 real rendered chunks loaded, but 192 chunks in dh. whenever i set my render distance any higher, it doesn't look any different (tried 4096)
DH Plugin - Remove LODs from a Dimension
Does anyone know how I can delete the LODs from the Overworld using the Distant Horizons plugin?
Solution:
One would need a DB viewer/program to only delete the table/db from inside the file

Optifine is literally only working source of stack-count-dependent item textures in 1.21.3, so I have to use Forge (not NeoForge, tried)....

Book and quil Lowers CPU to 0%
Book and quill Lowers CPU to 0% when distant Horizons is activated and when I copy a text into the book. This Also lags out the entire pc. If Distant Horizons is Deactivated, the CPU doesn't drop to 0% if Text is copied into a book.

Distant Horizon Multiplayer Server
Hi, I'd like to create a DH SMP-style server. I've always used Paper to create my servers, but in this case, since it's a mod, I'd like to prioritize performance. Do you have any suggestions for achieving this? I'm planning on creating a server for around 50 people.
My question is, should I use Paper with the DHS plugin or Fabric directly?...
Chunks disappearing when going out of normal render distance ( 12 chunks )
Ive disabled all the performance mod in my modpack and it still do it is there any of those mods included in the images that may cause that

Distant Horizons multiplayer update not working
Hello me and my friend are playing minecraft and for some reason distant horizon only loads lods to wherever i go and not like the new update where it syncs with the host, we are playing lan (simulated) and using localtonet to simulate it, is there any fix so that i can see what my friend also sees without having to travel to it
Distant horizons does not work in the nether
I'm having some troubles with Distant Horizons 2.3.0-b on a modpack I'm making where the lods seem to follow the player camera in a weird way. DH works as expected in the overworld but in the nether it looks really weird, is there a fix for this?

Ok I tried using fabric instead of neoforge and that seems to have fixed it so it must be something to do with neoforge and distant horizons
Server says DH is supported once then never again
Im using DH with mods for forge on 1.20.1. I used essential to host a world, my friend joined, f3 says that DH is fully supported but they said that that the chunk were importing really slowly or not at importing at all.
I thought it was an internet issue so they hosted (with essential) and I joined. This time F3 says no DH support. When we switched back to me hosting, DH now also have no support on the server.
I switched to e4mc, changed who's hosting but no luck....
Crash with Xaero's World Map
The new stable build seems to have some sort of conflict with Xaero's World Map. I can launch the game, but loading a world or joining a realm crashes the game. The game runs fine with either DH or XWM enabled, but not with both. Any way to resolve this incompatibility?
LOD does not match sunset and sunrise color and fog like real chunks
This was tested on a fresh profile of Minecraft 1.21.4 in a single player world with only Distant Horizons installed.

Error spam in server logs
What it says on the tin. running on a 1.21.4 fabric server with c2me, lithium, and nochatreports. everything else should be vanilla. a few players playing, likely without a DH client.
Is there a way I can set it to just ignore errors? they don't appear to be causing any problems, though I have not tried to connect with a DH client to check if it's working or not.
Additionally, would love a
/dh help and /dh help config and whatnot. I have not been able to figure out a single working command from the docs...
