Five only ever used d3dx with d3d9 so i know how to get it working and without it i have no idea how to properly use shaders

Fthe d3d9 hlsl sample without effects uses d3dx to compile the shader and get out a constant table

Li mean i have a copy of not only working d3dx9 source code but also a d3d9 driver source code, ive already had to dig into dxvk-native's code multiple times to debug issues with d3d11, its quite clean code
Fcuz at least doing stuff like uniforms, or as theyre called there, parameters

Lill figure it all out when the time comes
Ljust use d3dx for now and ill come up and change it when ready
Lmaybe write some code to make it a similar API just in c#
